CUSAT CAT Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Candidates appearing for admission to Cochin University must refer to eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT 2019 so as to know their eligibility for appearing in the entrance examination. Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has conducted the CUSAT CAT 2019 entrance examination on April 6 for admission of candidates to undergraduate engineering programmes. The application form of CUSAT CAT 2019 was available from January 30 to February 21. Applications could be filled till February 28 with payment of late fees of Rs.100. CUSAT CAT 2019 result was declared on May 9.

Candidates applying for this course must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in qualifying examination when taken together
Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in Mathematics individually in the qualifying examination
Candidates appearing must have secured at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in qualifying examination from Kerala or any other board or University
Candidates must have taken Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with other subjects in the qualifying examination
Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks individually in Mathematics
Candidates must have also secured an aggregate of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry when taken together in qualifying examination
Candidates applying for this programme must have passed their qualifying examination of Class 12th or equivalent from the state of Kerala with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
Or, Candidates applying must have passed in any other equivalent examination which is recognized by University with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
Candidates must have also secured at least 50% marks in Mathematics separately in qualifying examination
Candidates must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in qualifying examination or equivalent from the state of Kerala or any other accepted examination by the University
Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects in the qualifying examination
Candidates applying for this course must have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in English in either Class 10th or 12th. This is even applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST category
Candidates must also produce a physical and eye fitness certificate at the time of admission which must be obtained from Medical Examiners approved by DG Shipping. Candidates must fulfil the requirement of admission as directed by DG Shipping (Govt of India)
The admission authority of examination has not kept any age limit as an eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT 2019. Candidates of any age can apply for the admission process through CUSAT CAT 2019 though they have to meet other criteria as listed by the authorities.

Well I am sorry but with this rank you will not be able to get into CUSAT. The cutoffs for your preferred branches don't usually cross 1000 even for the reserved categories so a rank of 2310 doesn't come into consideration.
Maybe you should give it a shot in the next year or go for other alternatives this year.
