On Question asked by student community
Hello,
Choudhary Nandram Memorial Agriculture College, Hanumangarh mein admission mainly Rajasthan JET counselling ke through hota hai. Agar aapne JET exam nahi diya, to aap regular government quota seats ke liye eligible nahi hongi.
Lekin kabhi-kabhi college kuch seats management quota ke under deta hai, uske liye aapko college se directly contact karna chahiye. Wahan se aapko form, fees aur eligibility details mil jayengi.
Agar aapne 12th with Agriculture/Biology/Maths + Physics + Chemistry subjects se pass kiya hai, to aap eligible hain. Par official admission JET counselling ke zariye hi confirm hota hai.
Hope you understand.
Hello,
The JET 2026 exam for JAIN MCA admission is a 150-minute online, computer based test with 120 objective-type questions across physics, chemistry, Mathematics, Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and English covering higher secondary level topics, with one marks for each correct answer and no negetive marking. A detailed official syllabus will be available on the Jain University website, and the specific exam pattern will be confirmed on the admit card and official portal.
I hope it will clear your query!!
No, Mathematics is not compulsory for JET (Joint Entrance Test for Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Fisheries, Forestry and other allied sciences) if you are from the PCB group . JET allows candidates with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Agriculture in 10+2. Since you are studying in 11th with the Science PCB group , you are fully eligible to appear. Only if you want to take admission in courses like B.Tech Dairy Technology or Food Technology , then Mathematics becomes necessary. For other programs such as B.Sc Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries etc. , PCB is enough.
In short: You can appear for JET with PCB, but if you aim for engineering-oriented agri programs , then Mathematics is compulsory.

- To get admission into SRFTI, you first need to clear the JET exam, which is a common entrance exam for both SRFTI & FTII. Then after based on your JET score and cutoff you'll be shortlisted for the next round of counselling which includes practical tests, workshops or personal interview.
With your JET Agriculture ranks UR – 28953, UR female – 10633, caste category – 15858, caste category female – 5972, your chances of getting a government seat mainly depend on your category, choice of course, and cutoff trends of previous years. Generally, government agriculture colleges have high cutoffs, and for UR ranks around 28k it is tough to get a seat. But since your category female rank is 5972, you may still get chances in some government or semi-government colleges in less popular courses if cutoff goes lower this year.
