PSU Recruitment through GATE 2026: Engineering graduates have a chance to secure prestigious jobs in top public sector companies across India through PSU recruitment via GATE 2026. To apply, candidates use their registration number and apply online. Candidates of the General/OBC/EWS category must pay a low application fee and SC/ST candidates do not. The successful short-listed candidate can be required to take a written exam (where applicable) after the GATE 2026 results are announced and thereafter undergo Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). Each PSU has a different selection process although the major consideration of short listing candidates is the GATE scores.

Most of the PSUs such as BHEL, IOCL, NTPC, and ONGC advertise in numerous technical positions that come with competitive pay packages, career growth and job security. PSU employment is in high demand because of the recognition, benefits, and the possibility of employment in such essential industries as energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing. The PSU recruitment notification 2026 will be published online, and the applicants with the necessary cutoff scores in GATE 2026 can apply. The process of recruiting the engineering graduates enables them to join some of the most prestigious companies in India, and this has made it one of the most desirable employment opportunities to the fresh graduates.
Each year, a number of Public Sector Undertakings shortlist/recruit candidates for the position of Management Trainee (MT)/Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) based on GATE score. The GATE score is viewed by some PSUs as the only selection criterion, whereas in other cases, candidates are shortlisted to undergo further processes such as group discussion and interview based on the GATE score. The jobs of PSU are very desirable due to the stability of the sector and good remunerations as well as numerous perks. This accounts to why the PSU recruitment drives have thousands of candidates annually particularly in the technical and management sectors. Most of these chances can be availed by examinations such as GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
