DTU M.Tech Merit List 2019- Delhi Technological University has released the DTU M.Tech 2019 merit list in online mode. The merit list of DTU M.Tech 2019 is prepared on the basis of normalized GATE scores of different papers and written test score. Based on DTU M.Tech merit list 2019 candidates was invited to participate in the counselling process which on July 12. DTU M.Tech 2019 merit list was released by different departments offering DTU M.Tech admission at the University. Key Points Related to DTU M.Tech Merit List 2019

  • The merit list of The DTU M.Tech 2019 will be prepared based on the GATE 2019 normalised scores.

  • Based on the prepared DTU M.Tech 2019 merit list, counselling will be conducted.

  • Candidates whose names will appear in the merit list will be called to participated in the counselling which will held from second week of July.

  • Each department of the University will publish their individual DTU M.Tech merit list 2019 for the programmes offered by them.

How GATE Scores Will be Normalised to Prepare DTU M. Tech 2019 Merit List?

For the reference of the candidates, mentioned below is the formula used to normalise GATE 2019 scores in order to prepare DTU M.Tech 2019 merit list.

Marks obtained by the candidate in the subject x 100 = Normalized GATE Marks

The above mentioned formula is used to prepare the merit list of DTU M.Tech 2019. However, while using this formula, authorities also consider maximum marks awarded in the the particular subject in that year. To explain candidates in a easy way here is the example for the.

Let consider the marks scored by a candidate is 64 out of 100 in EE Paper and the maximum marks in that paper for that particular year is 92. Then the normalise of GATE scores will be done in following manner:

Normalized GATE Marks in EE Paper of the candidate = 64/ 92 x100 = 69.5

What if Two or More Candidates Score Same Marks? DTU M.Tech Inter-se-Merit 2019

If one or more candidates score equivalent normalised GATE scores, then authorities will rank candidate with higher percentage marks in qualifying examination higher.

DTU M.Tech merit list will be released in first week of July 2019, after the conclusion of registration process. Therefore, candidates can meanwhile check the previous year merit list of DTU M.Tech for their reference.

You can upload the photo again even after the closure of the gate application submission.High quality image must be uploaded in the application.Background and sign should be white.Reuploading facility is also available.website will reopen and you can upload

As you are still in your 3rd year, you might not be still aware of the complete GATE syllabus. So analyse the topics and syllabus that you have learnt for the past 3 years and practise as much Mathematics as you can. Try as many mock tests as possible and get a hang of the exam pattern. Hi, Regarding Gate application correction form, right now there is no option to change my category details. Will it be provided in the future? I had incorrectly selected GEN, but it is OBC/NCL. Thanks in advance.

Dear Harish, IIT Delhi has scheduled diiferent correction windows for different correction categories. The tentative dates to make corrections to your Category would be from the last week of October to 1st week of November. This is tentative and so please keep an eye on the official website. You can change your Category but you will not be refunded any additional amount that you paid towards your application form. can I apply for the gate exam now?

Dear Pramod, IIT Delhi has closed registrations for GATE 2020 as on October 5th, 2019 along with late fees. Now the correction window has been opened. At this juncture, registering for GATE 2020 is not a possibility. You may have to wait until the next year if you  plan on appearing for GATE. For GATE 2020, you have been late.
