DTU M.Tech Merit List 2021 - Delhi Technical University (DTU) will release the DTU M. Tech 2021 merit list in online mode tentatively in June. Candidates should note that that the DTU M. Tech merit list 2021 will be released on the basis of the GATE normalized score for which specific formula is adopted. If two or more candidates with the same score, the inter-se merit list of DTU M.Tech is released based on the rules. As per the DTU 2021 merit list, the admissions will be offered to the candidates. DTU M. Tech Merit List 2021 - Important Dates
The exact date of the merit list of DTU M. tech will be announced by the exam authorities along with the official notification. Candidates can check the tentative dates as given below.

DTU M. Tech Merit List 2021 - Reservation Policy
The exam authorities will release the no. of seats reserved for every category for DTU M. Tech admission 2021. This is followed while admissions based on DTU M.Tech 2021 merit list. The trend of reservation for categories is shown in the table as under.

DTU M. Tech Merit List 2021 - Snippets
The DTU M. Tech merit list 2021 will be made on the basis of the normalization process.
Counselling will be held tentatively in July month and candidates whose names are there in the merit list will be participating in counselling and seat allotment process.
The counselling process will be conducted based on the merit list.
Every concerned branch/department will release a separate DTU M. Tech merit list 2021 as per the specific specialization.
DTU M. Tech Merit List 2021 - Normalization of GATE Marks
The merit list will be prepared based on the candidate score obtained in GATE 2021. The normalization formula used for making the DTU M. Tech merit list is stated below.
Marks secured by the candidate in a subject x 100 = Normalized GATE Marks.
The above-given formula is used to prepare the DTU M.Tech 2021 merit list. While using this formula, the exam authorities will also consider maximum marks awarded in particular subjects. Here is an example of a calculation.
Example - Suppose that the marks secured by a candidate are 60 out of 100 in a Paper and the maximum marks in that paper are 92 for that year. Then, the normalisation of GATE scores will be made in the following manner:
Normalized GATE Marks = 60/92 x 100 = 65.2
DTU M. Tech Inter-Se Merit List
If two or more candidates have scored the same marks, then a separate list of candidates known as ‘Inter-se merit list’ is prepared.
Candidates with the GATE score of 2019 will be considered over those of 2020 and 2021.
Candidates with a GATE score of 2020 shall be considered over those with a score of 2021.
In the case of candidates with the same GATE year, one with a higher GATE score will be considered.
If candidates with the same GATE year and score, preference will be given on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) in GATE.
In the case of candidates with the same GATE year, marks, and AIR, then the elder candidates in age will be preferred.
If still, the tie found, then the grade/marks secured by candidates in the qualifying exam shall be considered.

DTU M. Tech Counselling 2021
Eligible candidates whose names are on the DTU M. Tech merit list will have to participate in the counselling process at the specified date & venue. Candidates have to report for DTU M. Tech counselling 2021 accordingly for the purpose of document verification which will be followed by seat allotment and payment of admission fee. The DTU M. Tech counselling process is expected to be held in two rounds, in case the seats remain vacant in the first round.

You should have marks of 150+ in GATE for ICT mumbai for food technology course.However,you can also apply for admission if you don't qualified GATE they will conduct written test prepared by their department and merit list will be based on that but remember first preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates and for remaining seats merit list will be based on written test.

Hello candidate,
The GATE examination is very important for getting admission into m tech courses in some of the prestigious Institutions of the country, and getting job opportunities in public sector companies or PSUs.
The company shortlist the candidates on the basis of their GATE score, and overall academic record and call for interview rounds. If the candidate gets selected in this interview Rounds, then only he gets final selection.
