Key Points Related to DTU M.Tech Merit List 2019
The merit list of The DTU M.Tech 2019 will be prepared based on the GATE 2019 normalised scores.
Based on the prepared DTU M.Tech 2019 merit list, counselling will be conducted.
Candidates whose names will appear in the merit list will be called to participated in the counselling which will held from second week of July.

How GATE Scores Will be Normalised to Prepare DTU M. Tech 2019 Merit List?
For the reference of the candidates, mentioned below is the formula used to normalise GATE 2019 scores in order to prepare DTU M.Tech 2019 merit list.
Marks obtained by the candidate in the subject x 100 = Normalized GATE Marks
The above mentioned formula is used to prepare the merit list of DTU M.Tech 2019. However, while using this formula, authorities also consider maximum marks awarded in the the particular subject in that year. To explain candidates in a easy way here is the example for the.
Let consider the marks scored by a candidate is 64 out of 100 in EE Paper and the maximum marks in that paper for that particular year is 92. Then the normalise of GATE scores will be done in following manner:
Normalized GATE Marks in EE Paper of the candidate = 64/ 92 x100 = 69.5
What if Two or More Candidates Score Same Marks? DTU M.Tech Inter-se-Merit 2019
If one or more candidates score equivalent normalised GATE scores, then authorities will rank candidate with higher percentage marks in qualifying examination higher.

DTU M.Tech merit list will be released in first week of July 2019, after the conclusion of registration process. Therefore, candidates can meanwhile check the previous year merit list of DTU M.Tech for their reference.

The tentative dates to make corrections to your Category would be from the last week of October to 1st week of November. This is tentative and so please keep an eye on the official website.
