DTU M.Tech Admission 2019 - Delhi Technological University will release the application form of DTU M.Tech admission 2019 in online mode tentatively in first week of May. DTU M.tech 2019 admission will conduct on the basis of GATE scores of the candidates. DTU M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2019
Candidates apply for admission will have to meet the DTU M.Tech 2019 eligibility criteria. Age limit, qualifying examination, marks required and more will be mentioned in the eligibility criteria of DTU M.Tech admission 2019. The eligibility criteria are the parameters which candidates will have to meet to be eligible for admission Given below is the DTU M.Tech 2019 eligibility criteria for candidates reference:
Candidates must be GATE qualified.
General category candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks in their qualifying degree or equivalent CGPA provided by their respective institute or university.
SC/ ST/ PD categories candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks in their qualifying degree and candidates belonging to OBC category need 55% in their qualifying degree.
In case CGPA or conversion formula has not been provided, then equivalent CGPA will be calculated as per the given below table:

DTU M.Tech Application Form 2019
Candidates will be able to fill DTU M.Tech 2019 application form tentatively in second week of May in online mode. Filling of application form of DTU M.Tech 2019 admission will include submitting of personal, qualifying exam and contact details along with uploading of scanned images photograph and signature. For the reference of the candidates mentioned below is the detailed procedure of DTU M.Tech 2019 application:
Steps to Fill DTU M.Tech Application Form 2019
Step 1- Get register: In order to fill the application form candidates will have to register themselves by submitting all the requisite details.
Step 2- Fill application form: On successful registration, candidates will have to fill the application form by providing their academic, personal, contact details. Also, select the password and security question and enter their answer. Submit the form once filled all the required field. On submission of data, application number will be generated, note it down and keep it safe.
Step 3- Upload photograph and signature: in the prescribed format and dimension upload the scanned images of photograph and signature and other requisite documents. For the reference of the candidates mentioned below is the format and size in which files need to be uploaded:
Greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb
Greater than 1 kb and less than 30 kb

Greater than 50 kb and less than 300 kb

Step 4- Payment of application fee:
The second last step of application process is payment of fee. Candidates will have to pay the application fee in the online mode either through net banking or debit/ credit card. Candidates must note that a convenience charge of 1% plus taxes will be levied on every online transaction. General category candidates will have to pay Rs 1,000, while SC/ST/PwD candidates will have to deposit Rs. 500 as the application fee.
Step 5- Print of acknowledgement page:
Once all the above steps are performed candidates will have to take a printout of a acknowledgement page on successful payment of fee.
Note: If acknowledgment page is not generated after payment, then transaction will be cancelled and fee amount will be refunded. Candidates will have to initiate the fee payment again.
The authorities will release DTU M.Tech 2019 cutoff determining minimum GATE scores. Based on this minimum GATE normalised scores, merit list will be prepared and counselling will be conducted. Various factors will be taken into consideration while preparing the cutoff of DTU M.Tech 2019. Number of candidates applied for admission, seats availability, difficulty level of exam and previous year cutoff trends are some of the factors that will be considered while preparing the cutoff.
The authorities will released the common merit list of DTU M.Tech 2018 tentatively in first week of July. Based on the GATE normalized scores and ranks, candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling process. The merit list of DTU M.Tech admission 2019 will form the basis of counselling and seat allotment. There will be separate DTU M.Tech merit list 2019 for each discipline and category.
Candidates who will be shortlisted for DTU M.Tech 2019 counselling will have to download their counselling letters and report to the venue. The counselling of DTU M.Tech 2019 which will be conducted in two rounds followed by a spot round in case of vacant seats. Candidates will have to produce documents for the verification. On successful verification of documents candidates will be called for interview or a written test. Candidates will be alloted seats based on their merit, preference and availability. The result of seat allotment will be announced after the payment of fees.

Written Test and Selection Procedure
The authorities will be conducting screening test will be computer based test (CBT). The test will be held for one hour which will contain 40 MCQ type questions with one correct answer. For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded four marks, while one mark will be deducted for incorrect response. Candidates will be allowed to use non-programmable calculator. However, no mobile phones, electronic gadgets will be allowed in the examination hall.
What Candidates Need to Carry for Written Test
Candidates must bring the print out of filled up application form along with at least one Identity proof (issued by any Govt agency) like Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Driving Licence etc. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the test, if they fail to produce their valid Photo Identity Proof and printout of application form.
