DTU M.Tech Counselling 2019 - The admission authority of Delhi Technological University will conduct counselling of DTU M.Tech 2019 from July 26. DTU M.Tech 2019 counselling will be held after the announcement of result of written test. Admission in DTU is offered on the basis of written test conducted by the institute. Admission authorities of DTU will prepare the common merit list of DTU M.Tech 2019 on the basis of rank/marks secured in GATE entrance examination and written test. Candidates listed in the merit list will be invited to attend counselling of DTU M.Tech 2019 where they will have to report in person on scheduled date and time. Before reporting to institute, candidates must download their call letter from admission portal using log-in credentials. Candidates will have to register themselves to participate in DTU M.Tech 2019 counselling process and fill their preferred choice of course. After the registration process, candidates will have to get their documents verified at the time of seat allotment of DTU M.Tech 2019. After the document verification process, candidates might have to face an interview or written test which primarily depends on the decision of authorities. Authorities will conduct two rounds of counselling of DTU M.Tech 2019 followed by a spot round of counselling. DTU M.Tech 2019 Counselling Procedure

Counselling of DTU M.Tech 2019 will comprise of following two rounds as mentioned below:
Authorities will release the list of candidates selected for the first round of counselling for admission process on the basis of merit rank secured by candidate in GATE 2019 entrance examination and written test. If seats remain vacant after the first round of counselling, then authorities will conduct second round of counselling. Following steps will be involved in counselling process:
Deposition of Fees: Candidates who have been selected for counselling process will be required to first pay the counselling fees through Demand draft in favor of “Registrar, Delhi Technological University” payable at New Delhi. Candidates will have to submit their receipt of fee payment at the department. Candidates must make a note that admission will not be offered if fees is not paid.
Document Verification: Candidates must bring along all required original documents along with a set of photocopies for the document verification process. Photocopies has to be self-attested by the candidate. If a candidate does not report to the institute within scheduled time or doesn’t get documents for document verification process, then the seat will be offered to other candidates. Furthermore, candidate will not be allowed to appear for further rounds of counselling.
Counselling Process: Candidates invited for counselling process must be present in person. In case a candidate is unable to attend counselling of DTU M.Tech 2019 due to some unavoidable circumstances, then in such case, candidate can allot another person to participate in counselling process on their behalf. Assigned individual must come along with duly signed authorization letter.
Freeze: Candidates who are happy with the seat allotted to them during document verification will have to fill the freezing form and submit the same in department concerned. Candidates who have opted for freeze will not be able to take part in subsequent counselling and seat allotment process.
Upgradation: If a candidate wishes to upgrade their seat to higher preferred choices which is offered by different department. Candidates will have to present NOC from the parent department and thereafter will have to submit original fee receipt along with other documents in new department.
Seats available for admission process in second round of counselling will be listed
Counselling for the second round will be conducted at respective department. No separate communication will be sent.
Authorities will offer no admission to second or higher semesters of any programme.

All semesters marksheets and certificate of qualifying examination (Graduation)
SC/ ST/ OBC persons with disability certificates whichever applicable, on the basis of reservation. OBC candidates must produce necessary financial document
Original valid GATE Score Card
Experience Certificate (Original) in case of part time and full time sponsored candidates
No objection Certificate for Part-time sponsored candidates
Sponsorship certificate by Full-time sponsored candidates in the prescribed format
Separate merit list will be prepared on the basis of GATE score
In case two or more candidate secure same rank, then authorities will determine the rank using the inter-se merit list in the following order:
Candidates having GATE score in 2017 will be preferred than candidates having scored in GATE 2018 or 2019
Candidates having GATE score in 2018 will be preferred over the candidate who have secured GATE 2019
If the year of taking the entrance exam is same, then preference will be given to candidate who secures higher marks out of 100 in GATE entrance exam
In case GATE marks out of 100 and year is same, then candidates will be given admission on the basis of All India Rank (AIR)
If candidates have same GATE year, marks out of 100 and AIR, then date of birth of candidate will be considered. Candidate older will be preferred
If the date of birth of candidate is also the same, then candidate’s rank will be decided on the basis of marks or CGPA secured in qualifying degree
Candidates will need to submit annual fee during admission in the form of Demand draft in favor of “Registrar, Delhi Technological University” payable at New Delhi
Candidate will have to pay the fees in single instalment failing which will result in revocation of admission immediately
In case candidates admission is in waitlist, they will given a days time to deposit the fees

Dear Pramod, IIT Delhi has closed registrations for GATE 2020 as on October 5th, 2019 along with late fees. Now the correction window has been opened. At this juncture, registering for GATE 2020 is not a possibility. You may have to wait until the next year if you plan on appearing for GATE. For GATE 2020, you have been late.
