REAP or Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process is a state-level counselling process for admission into engineering institutes in Rajasthan. The admission procedure is based on the rank obtained in JEE Main 2026 or the percentile secured in class 12. However, during the counselling process, the priority for admission is given to the higher JEE Main rank, and next to the top percentile in Class 12. Admissions are granted based on merit, and no separate entrance examination is conducted for REAP 2026.

The REAP admission begins will begin from registration. For registration, the candidate must visit the official website, rajasthan.co.in. Candidates must complete the registration with their mobile number and email. Next, pay the REAP application fee.
Now fill in the REAP application form online with all the required details.
Next, upload all the required documents.
The next candidates will have to participate in the REAP choice filling and locking
The authority releases the REAP merit list based on candidates' Class 12 marks and choice filling.
Based on the merit list, the REAP seat allocation is done.

Another major option for BTech admission in Rajasthan without JEE Main is applying for the institute-level entrance tests/exams. Many private engineering institutes in the state offer admission to their BTech course directly or via their in-house entrance exams. BISTAT, BUAT, LPUNEST, etc., are some of the top institute-level entrance exams for BTech admission in Rajasthan.
The Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The Manipal entrance exam is held for admission into various UG and PG courses offered by the university. The MAHE, previously known as Manipal University, offers admissions to the following courses: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Engineering (M.E), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D), Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
As per the MAHE eligibility guidelines, the candidates must be citizens of India
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board or university. The qualifying examination must have been completed in Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject.
Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the optional subjects mentioned above (Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject).
There is no age limit for appearing in MET.
BITSAT is an institute-level entrance examination for admission into the BITS Pilani Rajasthan main campus. Candidates planning to secure admission into the B.Tech course at BITS Pilani can apply for the BITSAT exam. The exam is a computer-based entrance exam conducted across several exam centres in India and the Dubai campus. BTech seats are allocated across the campuses through the counselling process.
Candidates who wish to appear for BITSAT 2026 must fulfil the eligibility conditions for Btech admission. There is no age limit for BITSAT.
Qualified 10+2 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Candidates who passed the 10+2 exam in 2025 are also eligible.
Candidates who appear for the class 12 for the first time in 2025 or 2026 are only eligible. Students who retake 12th class in 2024 / 2025 are not eligible for the exam.
Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Candidates must begin by registering and filling in the exam application form at bits-pilani.ac.in/admissions. Upload a document and pay the fee.
Entrance Exam
The authority schedules the dates for the exam across 2 sessions. The exam paper will likely include Physics, Chemistry, Math, English, and Logical Reasoning. Candidates can select the exam centre, and the date and time for the test, at his/her convenience. The BISAT result will be released after the exam.
Merit & Counselling
The next step in the admission process is the merit lists and the counselling process. The authority will release the list with students' names who are eligible for the counselling process. After the completion of the counselling process, candidates will be assigned a seat at the entrance exam-accepting colleges.
