REAP 2018

REAPREAP 2018 – The application form of REAP 2018 will open tentatively in the 3rd week of May 2018 and can be filled in online mode only. The notification for REAP 2018 seat matrix will be announced around a week of so prior to that. Filling the application form of REAP 2018 will include steps like registration, choice filling and payment of registration and counselling fee. The candidate must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by Rajasthan Technical University, the conducting body of the admission process, to be considered for seat allotment. The application fee of REAP 2018 is Rs. 700, which is non-refundable. Candidates also need to pay counselling or advance fee of Rs. 10000 to be able to fill choices/options. REAP is conducted by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota, for admission to B.Tech courses in government financed and private unaided technical institutions affiliated to RTU M.B.M. Engineering College, Jodhpur and CTAE, Udaipur, in Rajasthan. Admission to B.Tech seats through REAP will be conducted through two streams -one based on JEE Main 2018 scores (first priority) and then on qualifying marks obtained in Class 12. Counselling for REAP 2018 will likely be conducted in four rounds, including special round, which is also the last round of counselling. Candidates only need to register only once to participate in the first three rounds, at the start of the first round. However, registration will be thrown open again in the special round. Purpose

Admission to B.Tech courses in Government Aided and Private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan affiliated to RTU M.B.M. Engineering College, Jodhpur and CTAE, Udaipur.

Admission Process

Admission will be through two channels: JEE Main 2018 score and Class XII board percentile.

 

JEE Main candidates will be given first priority and XII board candidates second priority.

Registration

There will single one-time registration, except in special round when registration will open again. No separate registration will be held for other counselling rounds.

 

Registration fee is Rs. 700 (non-refundable).

Counselling

There will four rounds of counselling, inlcuding special last round.

 

Candidates have to pay Rs. 10,000/-as Advance fee to be able to participate in counselling.

Upgradation/ Upward movement

This facility will be available only to Rajasthan candidates and not to candidates from other states (regions).

Aadhar Number

REAP Eligibility Criteria 2018

 

Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech/B.E courses through REAP 2018 need to ensure thier eligibility before filling the application form. Candidate who are found to be non-eligible, their candidature could be cancelled at any stage of the admission process. The various eligibility criteria of REAP 2018 are listed below:

Academic Qualification

B.Tech/B.E Courses

 

Passed 10+2 of Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) or any equivalent exam with minimum 45% marks ( 40% in case of SC/ST/OBC - NCL/ SBC -NCL candidates from the state of Rajasthan) in aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any of Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology as optional subject.

 

The candidate must also get pass marks in each of these subjects individually.

B.Arch Courses

 

Candidates need to meet any of the three conditions:

  • Must have scored 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Mathematics as a complusory subject

  • Passed 10+3 diploma (any stream) from a recognized board with an aggregate of 50% marks having Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Age

The candidate needs to be born on or after October 1, 1993. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD are eligible for age relaxation up to 5 years.

Medical Fitness

Additionally, candidates need to meet a host of medical fitness standards, including that of height, weight, and hearing. The candidate has to Medical Fitness Chartificate in this regard.

REAP Reservation of Seats 2018

 

Reservation of seats for REAP 2018 will be as per the guidelines prescribed by the Government of Rajasthan. These guidelines, however, will not be applicable in case of Private unadided Institutions and 50% of self-finance courses offered by aided institutions. The percentage of seats reserved for the different categories are detailed in the table below.

REAP Application Form 2018

 

The application form of REAP 2018 has to be filled in online mode only. The application process will commence tentatively in the third week of May 2018 and includes steps like payment of application fee, filling the application form, and uploading necessary documents. The steps to fill the application form of REAP 2018 is given below.

 

How to Fill the REAP 2018 Application Form

 

The REAP 2018 appliction submission process includes multiple steps, which are discussed below:

 

Step 1- Payment of Application/Registration Fee and Advance Fee

  • In addition to paying the application fee, candidates have to pay advance tuition fee of Rs. 10,000 before choice/option filling. The payment must be paid online.

  • Any transactional charges incurred for making the payment must be borne by the candidate.

  • The application form of REAP 2018 will become active only after payment of the application fee, while choices/options can be entered only upon paying the Advance fee.

Note: If a candidate wishes to apply for both B.Tech and B.Arch courses, the candidate needs to register and also pay the application fee only once. However, the candidate will have to pay the advance fee separately for each course. So, the combined cost would be Rs. 20,000.

 

Step 2: Filling the application form of REAP 2018

 

When filling the application form, the candidate needs to read the instructions carefully and fill all required fields. The candidate must also upload all required documents in this step.

 

Step 3: Taking printouts of completed REAP 2018 application form

 

After successfully submitting the REAP application form 2018, the candidate must take a printout of the form for future reference. The candidate mustn't send the hard copy to the admisison office, as it is not required.

 

Document checklist for filling REAP 2018 Application Form

  • Scaned copy of photograpg in JPG format ( up to 100 kb)

  • Scanned copy of the candidate's signature in JPG format (maximum 50 kb)

  • Scanned copy of mark sheets of Class 10+2

  • Valid mobile number and email ID

  • NATA score ( either 2018 or 2017) and Roll Number (for registration in B.Arch)

REAP Participating Institutes 2018

REAP Merit List 2018

 

The rank list of REAP 2018 will be published separately for JEE Main candidates and those seeking admission based on Class XII board exam results. Additionally, merit list of REAP 2018 will be available for each of the reserved categories, including horizontal reservation. Candidates belonging to one category will not be considered for admission under anoother category.

 

The allocation of seat through REAP 2018 will be first based on JEE Main 2018 (Paper I) Rank and then on Class XII percentile. Candidates who are seeking admission to B.Arch courses, the merit list will be prepared based on rank obtained in Paper II of JEE Main 2018 and after that on 12th Board Percentile + NATA score (both will be given equal weightage).

 

To check the REAP merit list, the candidate will have to log-in to the corresponding window by entering their log-in details, like 12 or 16 degit token number, transaction number, and date of birth.

 

REAP Seat Allotment and Counselling 2018

 

Candidates who are listed in the merit list of REAP 2018 will have to participate in counselling round. Counselling of REAP 2018 will he held separately for Rajasthan candidates and outside Rajasthan candidates. Also, only Rajasthan candidates will be considered for upgradation/upward movement. The upgradation is done on the basis of options entered by the candidate and seats available at that particular point.

 

To participate in counselling of REAP 2018, candidates need to get registered and pay the appliacable advance fee.

 

Candidate can check seat allotment of REAP 2018 by logging in to the seat allotment portal using their REAP log-in credentials. Candidates who are alloted seats will have to download the REAP 2018 seat allotment letter and report at the alloted institute within the prescribed time. At the time of reporting at the alloted institute, the candidate will have to bring along the allotment letter and originals of all relevant documents.
