REAP 2018 – Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG), Rajasthan, the conducting body for REAP 2018 has announced the result of round 2 seat allotment for Rajasthan State candidates. Candidates can download their allotment letter by entering their log-in id, password and date of birth. Earlier, authorities have released the merit list of REAP 2018 for Rajasthan state candidates on July 11. The provisional merit list of REAP 2018 was released on July 7 for Rajasthan state candidates in online mode. Earlier, authorities have released the result of REAP 2018 seat allotment for round-1. Earlier, revised merit list of REAP 2018 for Candidates out of Rajasthan, Ex-Serviceman, PwD, KM was released in online mode on July 7. The online application form of REAP 2018 was released by CEG for candidates. Filling of REAP 2018 application form included registration, payment of registration fee and choice filling. Candidates were required to pay the application fees of REAP 2018 in online mode till June 29, whereas, the last date to fill the application cum registration form and choice filling was June 30, 2018.

The application fee of REAP 2018 was Rs. 700, which was non-refundable, non-transferable and non-adjustable in future. REAP is being conducted for admission to B.Tech courses in government-financed and private unaided technical institutions affiliated to RTU M.B.M. Engineering College, Jodhpur and CTAE, Udaipur, in Rajasthan. Admission to B.Tech seats through REAP will be conducted through two streams - one based on JEE Main 2018 scores (first priority) and the other on qualifying marks of Class 12 (second priority). Counselling for REAP 2018 will be conducted in three rounds, and a special round. Candidates need to register only once to participate in the first three rounds, at the start of the first round. However, registration will be thrown open again in the special round. The authorities have released the REAP 2018 merit list in online mode. To check the REAP 2018 merit list, the candidate will have to log-in to the corresponding window by entering their log-in id, password and date of birth. The merit list of REAP 2018 is published separately for JEE Main candidates and those seeking admission based on Class XII board exam results. Additionally, merit list of REAP 2018 is available for each of the reserved categories, including horizontal reservation. Candidates belonging to one category will not be considered for admission under another category.
The allocation of seat through REAP 2018 will be first based on JEE Main 2018 (Paper I) Rank and then on Class XII percentile. Candidates who are seeking admission to B.Arch courses, the merit list will be prepared based on rank obtained in Paper II of JEE Main 2018 and after that on 12th Board Percentile
Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech/ B.E. courses through REAP 2018 need to ensure their eligibility before filling the application form. Candidate who are found to be non-eligible, their candidature could be cancelled at any stage of the admission process. The various eligibility criteria of REAP 2018 are listed below:
B.Tech/ B.E. Courses
Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Science from Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER), CBSE or any equivalent exam with minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC - NCL/ MBC -NCL candidates from the state of Rajasthan) in aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any of Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology as optional subject.
The candidate must also get pass marks in each of these subjects individually.
The candidate needs to be born on or after October 1, 1993. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD are eligible for age relaxation up to 5 years i.e. candidates who were born on or after October 1, 1988 will be eligible
Additionally, candidates need to meet a host of medical fitness standards, including that of height, weight, and hearing. The candidate has to Medical Fitness Certificate in this regard.
REAP Reservation of Seats 2018
Reservation of seats for REAP 2018 will be as per the guidelines prescribed by the Government of Rajasthan. These guidelines, however, will not be applicable in case of Private unaided Institutions and 50% of self-finance courses offered by aided institutions. The percentage of seats reserved for the different categories are detailed in the table below.

How to Fill the REAP 2018 Application Form
The REAP 2018 application submission process included multiple steps, which are discussed below:
Step 1 - Registration
Firstly, the candidates will have to register and enter their name, father's name, date of birth, mobile number, email id, Aadhaar details and more information.
Step 2- Payment of Application/ Registration Fee and Advance Fee
Candidates need to pay the REAP 2018 registration fee i.e. Rs 700 in online mode through REAP 2018 web portal. This amount will be non-refundable/ non-transferrable
Any transactional charges incurred for making the payment must be borne by the candidate.
The application form of REAP 2018 will become active only after payment of the application fee.
Step 3: Filling the application form and college choice form
When filling the application form, the candidate needs to read the instructions carefully and fill all required fields. Personal, academic and contact details have to be submitted by the candidates.
Step 4 - Uploading of Documents
The candidate must also upload all required documents in this step. The scanned image of the candidate's photograph and signature has to be uploaded.
Step 5: Submission and print out of application form
Candidates have to submit the application form. After submission, the candidates will have to fill in college choice form. Candidates will receive confirmation e-mail/ message at registered email ID/ Mobile number after successful submission of application cum registration form and college choice form. After successfully submitting the REAP application form 2018, the candidate must take a printout of the application form and college choice form for future reference. The candidate mustn't send the hard copy to the admission office, as it is not required.

REAP Seat Allotment and Counselling 2018
Candidates who are listed in the merit list of REAP 2018 will have to participate in counselling round. Counselling of REAP 2018 will he held separately for Rajasthan candidates and outside Rajasthan candidates. Also, only Rajasthan candidates will be considered for upgradation/ upward movement. The upgradation is done on the basis of options entered by the candidate and seats available at that particular point.
To participate in counselling of REAP 2018, candidates need to get registered.
Candidate can check seat allotment of REAP 2018 by logging in to the seat allotment portal using their REAP log-in credentials. Candidates who are alloted seats will have to download the REAP 2018 seat allotment letter and report at the alloted institute within the prescribed time.
