SRMJEEE 2020 - SRM Institute of Science and Technology will conduct SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) from April 12 to 20 for admission to B.Tech courses offered by the institute. The application form of SRMJEEE 2020 has been released in both online and offline mode. Last date for receipt of offline application form is February 29 while the last date to fill online application form is March 30. The offline application form of SRMJEEE 2020 is available at the university campus and also at select post offices. The university has announced changes in the exam pattern of SRMJEEE Interested candidates are advised to check the eligibility details carefully before filling the online application form. Slot booking for SRMJEEE 2020 will be available from April first week and hall ticket will be available from the second week of April, 2020. The result will be declared by last week of April in the form of merit list. What's New in SRMJEEE 2020?

• The exam pattern has changed with the inclusion of two sections - English and Aptitude.
• The number of questions have increased to 125 in total. Questions asked in Maths / Biology have increased to 40.
• The marking scheme has also changed with 1 mark awarded now for a correct answer unlike previous years when it was 3 marks for a correct answer. Total marks are now 125 instead of 315.
• The number of exam centres have increased from 123 to 132.

SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria 2020

Age Limit - Candidates who are born between July 1, 1999 to July 1, 2004 are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE 2020.

Nationality - He/She should be a Indian citizen of India or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), or OCI card issued by the Government of India or holder of PIO.

Qualifying Marks -

• For Kattankulathur campus, candidates must have obtained 60% aggregate marks in PCM, while for Sonepat, Rampur, Ghaziabad (NCR) and Vadapalani campuses, they must have scored a minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCM.

• For SRM Amaravati campus, they should get 75% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam with PCM.

• Candidates appearing for their 12th class or equivalent can also apply for SRMJEEE 2020

Academic Qualification for B.Tech Programmes -

• The candidates must have qualified or appearing for 12th class or equivalent exam with PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) as mandatory subjects from any recognized Board/University.

• International Baccalaureate (IB) A-Level with PCM as compulsory subjects in any International schools within India.

Academic Qualification for B.Tech/ Biotechnology, B.Tech/ Biomedical Engineering and B.Tech Genetic Engineering -

• They should have qualified or appearing in their class 12 or equivalent in the current academic year with PCM or Biology or Biotechnology as compulsory subjects from any recognized board. Candidates who have not studied Maths as one of the subjects in 11th and 12th class, will be eligible only for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology courses.

• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, or A-Level with PCM or Biology as mandatory subjects in any International schools within India.

Direct Admission Criteria -

• Top 1000 rankers in IIT JEE

• Top rank holders of central & state board of exams

• Top rankers from each district of Tamil Nadu and exemplary sports person at National & International level will also be eligible for direct admissions.

No of attempts in 12th Class - Candidates should have passed their 12th class in not more than two attempts including improvement examinations.

SRMJEEE Application Form 2020

The application form of SRMJEEE 2020 is available in both online and offline mode. Candidatesmust fill and send the offline SRMJEEE 2020 application form by February 29 while the last date to fill it online is March 30. . The following are the steps to be followed by the candidates while filling the online application form.

SRMJEEE 2020 Application Form - Online Mode

Step-1: Online Registration - Candidates will have to register themselves first by providing the necessary details includes name, date of birth, email id and mobile number. They will get a unique id and password via SMS and email.

Step-2: Login to website - They need to login to their account to fill start filling the remaining part of the application form.

Step-3: Filling the online application form - After the successful login, the candidates will have to fill the online application form of SRMJEEE 2020 by providing the necessary details includes academic, personal and address/ communication details.

Step-4: Application fee payment process - Candidates need to pay the required application fee of Rs 1100 through online mode only.

Step-5: Uploading necessary documents - Finally, they have to upload the required documents as per the prescribed format.

SRMJEEE Application Form 2020 - Offline Mode
Step 1 - Go to the specified post offices and obtain the SRMJEEE 2020 application form by paying Rs 1160 in cash. Click here for the list of Post Offices.

Step 2 - Fill the application form in own handwriting in Capital Letters. Use a black ink ball-point pen to fill the details. Where needed, mark the alphabet / numeral / oval using an HB pencil only. Choose 3 exam centres from the given list in order of preference.

Step 3 - Affix a photograph in the space given. Also sign in the given space using a black ball point pen. The application form of SRMJEEE 2020 must also be signed by the parent or guardian.

SRMJEEE Syllabus 2020

SRMJEEE 2020 syllabus will help candidates to know about important subjects and sections. Aspirants can make use of the syllabus of SRMJEEE 2020 to prepare for the national level entrance test. Students are required to be aware of the topics and subjects of the entrance tests before starting preparation for SRMJEEE.

The university has announced an increase of exam centres for SRMJEEE 2020. Now candidates can choose from 132 exam centres including 5 exam centres overseas. Candidates will have to select their exam centres of SRMJEEE 2020 while filling out the application form. The SRMJEEE exam centres 2020 will comprises of the list of cities where the entrance test will be conducted by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. They will be allotted exam centres from the selected cities only. Candidates have to select atleast three exam centres in the order of their preference.

SRMJEEE Slot Booking 2020

The slot booking of SRMJEEE 2020 will commence in online mode only from the first week of April, 2020. The process of slot booking will be conducted on the basis of first-come, first served basis. So candidates who have a preference for a particular slot must book their slots as early as possible; or else if slots get filled, they will have to settle for lesser preferred options.

Procedures for SRMJEEE 2020 Slot Booking

• Login to the official website by using a valid email ID and password.

• Choose the SRMJEEE 2020 exam slot, date & time as per the preference.

• Confirm the selected exam centre and click on the submit button.

• After that download hall ticket and take a printout of the same.

• The hall ticket should be carried to the exam centre for authentication purpose.

SRMJEEE Hall Ticket 2020

The hall ticket of SRMJEEE 2020 will be released through official website in online mode. It can be downloaded only after the completion of slot booking process from the first week of April. The SRMJEEE 2020 hall ticket is mandatory document to appear for the entrance examination. Without a valid hall ticket, cancidates will not permitted to appear for the exam. SRMJEEE Result 2020

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) will release the result of SRMJEEE 2020 in the fourth week of April. To check the result, candidates will have to login to the website using the valid credentials(email id and password). The SRMJEEE 2020 result consists of important details includes, name of the candidate, roll number, candidate’s rank, photograph, application number and registration number.

SRMJEEE Counselling 2020

The University will start the counselling process of SRMJEEE 2020 in both online and offline mode tentatively from the first week of May. Candidates who will be invited for the offline counselling but not attended will be able to participate in the online mode counselling process. To participate in SRMJEEE 2020 counselling in online mode, they will have to register and pay the necessary fee. The candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their performance in SRMJEEE 2020, choices chosen and seat availability at the venus of the counselling. Documents verification will be done by the exam authorities as per the schedule.
