About the Sri City International University Work-Study Dual Model

This model can work successfully because the Sri City International University is located within Sri City, which is an integrated business city spread across 10,000 acres of land. Sri City itself is a hub of more than 220 companies from diverse industries, including many leading manufacturers. Most of the companies that produce the maximum share of Air Conditioners and other consumer products operate in Sri City. This model is successful due to this proximity, which enables students to gain academic knowledge along with real-world industry experience.

• Provide a Monthly Stipend to Students from the 1st Year.

• Provide a UGC-Recognized Graduation Degree with 2+ Years of Professional Work Experience (Internship).

• Four-Year Program: In a four-year program, students will spend about 5 quarters at the SIU campus and 11 quarters at the Industry Partner Location.

• Three-Year Program: In a three-year program, students will spend about 4 quarters at the SIU campus and 8 quarters at the Industry Partner Location.

• Unlike other conventional academic programs, where the study period is 30 weeks per year, the SIU Model includes a study period of 46 Weeks per year (8 hours per Day or 40 hours per Week) work and study integrated program.

SIU Model: The Unique Model Complying with UGC/AICTE Requirements

Students can get admission in the B.Tech or BBA Program at Sri City International University after Class 12. This university model follows all the UGC/AICTE requirements. The induction period will be two weeks in this model. Students will spend 35 per cent of their time studying in the university itself and 65 per cent of their time in an internship (providing industrial experience with a stipend). For a four-year B.Tech program, students will be spending 1880 hours every year, including study and work.

Study and Work Duration Every Year for a Four-Year Program

• In the first year of the program, students will spend equal time in classroom study and industry exposure.

• In the second, third, and fourth year of the program, students will spend 25 per cent of their time in classroom study while 75 per cent of their time gaining industrial experience.

• After the completion of the program, students will get a graduate degree with 2+ years of real industry experience.

Sri City International University - Internship Programme

Students will get a stipend of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 18,000 every month from the 1st year, based on the company. This internship program is conducted at more than 220 companies within Sri City from over 30 countries all around the world, including Japanese, Chinese, and Korean companies. If you are willing to study eight hours a day for 46 weeks, then this B.Tech program is the golden opportunity where you can earn while you learn.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech CSE at Sri City International University

Students who passed Class 12 with PCM subjects with at least 50 per cent marks are eligible to apply for admission.

Reservation Policy - B.Tech CSE

35 per cent of the B.Tech CSE seats at Sri City International University are reserved for the students of Andhra Pradesh, and 40 per cent of the seats are allocated to the students from all over India. 10 per cent of the seats are allocated for the fellowship program through the SIU fellowship test, and 15 per cent of the seats are sponsored by the industry partners based on the board marks. Financial Assistance offered by Sri City International University

1- Tuition Fee Reimbursement by AP Government: This financial support is applicable for the Andhra Pradesh candidates applying for admission through APEAPCET 2026 or APOAMDC 2026. In this scheme, 100 per cent tuition fee is reimbursed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

2- Internship Stipend - from Year 1: Students will be paid a stipend of Rs. 10,000+ per month from the first year throughout the complete course. Students will earn while studying, and this stipend amount will reduce the burden of the cost of education as well.

3- Fellowships - up to 100%: Another financial support offered by SIU is this fellowship scheme in which 100 per cent of the tuition fee is covered for the deserving candidates through the SIU fellowship test.

4- Collateral-Free Student Loans: Those students who can’t afford the fee can also avail a collateral-free student loan through partner banks.
