I am losing faith in preparing for jeemain. Please give me a boost to work with focus. anyone of you do not deny.
There is something called Acceptance and Commitment Theory in the field of Psychology. It is an intervention method that uses acceptance and meaningfulness in different ways. It is not a method of eliminating any particular behaviour. Rather it is acceptance of one's own inhibiting behaviour and mould our lives accordingly. This means you accept that you are no longer as curious you were before. But you mould your habits and lifestyle or working towards your dream in a way that you still work in fulfilling your passion. Maybe you should sit and write the reason you are no longer curious or passionate about something. If it was something like a bad experience or bad feedback that you had or heard, you should write it down and then evaluate the truth in it. You should maybe check the facts and see if what you felt or heard still holds true. And then you write down your current thoughts on your passion. It might be the lockdown talking or it might be because you found something else interesting. If it is just the lockdown talk, be assured that you will feel fresh once this situation passes. But if it has been there with you for a while, then accept the fact that your priorities have changed. Choose the correct course of action and decide on it. If you still want to stick on to your passion, maybe you need to rejuvenate yourself and get back on track. So do not shy away from thoughts that take away your curiosity. Face them and write them down. It might be laziness, it might be the discovery of a new passion, it might be lockdown, anything. Just write it down. Allow those thoughts in your mind and rationalise when you can and fight with them when you have to. Discover what is more important. Your flee of emotions or your passion. Set goals to act responsibly keeping in mind the long term. You cannot come back after a year and try to be passionate again. By then you would have lost the rhythm. Always remember that this is just a mind game and you need to reason with your brain and train your brain and not the other way round.
For JEE Mains preparation, we have JEE Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-jee-main-april/ . You need to know your syllabus and understand the exam pattern. Make a plan and stick to it. Make a note of the books to refer from and practise as many mock tests or sample papers as you can.
Divide the syllabus into Class 11 and Class 12 and the topics as "Need to Learn", "Weak" and "Strong". Now it is important to check the weightage of each topic. In Physics, Modern Physics take the top slot with 5 questions. Heat and Thermodynamics, Optics, Current Electricity, Elcetrostatics get 3 questions each. Magnetic has 2 questions and the rest get 1 question each. In Chemistry, Transition Elements and Coordination Chemistry, Periodic Table and Representative elements take 3 questions slot. Thermodynamics and Gaseous state, Atomic structure, Chemical Bonding, Chemical and Iconic Equilibrium, Solid State and Surface Chemistry and Nuclear Chemistry and Environment get 2 questions slot eacch and the remaining get 1 question each.In Mathematics, Co-ordinate Geometry gets 5 questions. Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus get 3 questions slot each. The rest get 2 and 1 questions slot. I get 77 % in jee mains phase 1 can i get sit in any private university or top clg pls tell me where can i get sit with 77%
as per your percentile, expected rank is 1,99,893. it will change as 2nd session of JEE mains is yet to be conducted.
in general category, if you have rank below 2lakh then you can go for NIT campus. if it is less then 5-7 lakh then you can go for Government engineering college or university.
if you don't get government option then you can go for private college. There are good private college who trains students to perform well in placement. They conduct seminar and workshops to make students familiar with market world. You will get a suitable option as per your score.
Hope it helps!
I want to get admission in cse branch at thapar university. If i get 89 percent in 10 +2. My jee mains percentile is 35. 45678.then i get seat in thapar or not.
Your jee mains percentile is too low that is cutoff is generally around 35-40k at Thapar and your chances are very low at 35 percentile your rank will be approximately 5.5 lakhs and for general category you have no chances of getting Thapar, Patiala. Though you can prepare for July exam and do better to get the college.
