Is Calculator Allowed in GATE? - Students appearing for the GATE 2026 exam cannot carry a calculator to the test centre. However, a virtual calculator is provided. Meaning, a physical calculator is not allowed in GATE. Instead, IIT Guwahati provides a virtual GATE calculator on the test screen itself. Hence, GATE exam aspirants need not worry.
