IIT Bombay M.Tech Admission 2019: Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has completed the admission process for M.Tech admission 2019. Admission in IIT Bombay M.Tech is through GATE. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of GATE score and admission status is posted on COAP. Application form for M.Tech admission for the academic session 2019-20 has been closed. Candidates who wish to pursue their M.Tech programme from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay have to apply for IIT Bombay M.Tech Admission 2019 by filling the online application form. Application forms for admission of IIT Bombay M.Tech 2019 were available from March 20 till April 16, 2019. After filling the IIT Bombay M.Tech 2019 application form, candidates will have to register to Common Offer Admission Portal (COAP) through which all admission will be offered to candidates. IIT Bombay M.Tech admission 2019 will offer 16 M.Tech programmes to eligible candidates. Admission is offered to candidates who have qualified GATE entrance examination. Candidates shortlisted will be able to check their IIT Bombay M.Tech admission 2019 offer through COAP. Candidates will have to confirm their admission of IIT Bombay M.Tech 2019 as specified in offer letter. Candidates will be offered admission on the basis of merit list prepared by the admission authority. Candidates will have to participate in counselling of IIT Bombay M.Tech 2019 to get a seat in desired programme. Candidates applying must have secured at least 60% marks for general category and 55% marks for SC/ST category candidates in their B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering)/ M.Sc./MCA/MBBS/M.Pharm/B.Pharm (4 year degree)/ BDS (4 year degree) qualifying degree

Candidates who have qualified their B.Tech degree from any of the IITs with a CGPA/CGPI of 8.0 on a scale of 10 will also be eligible to apply. How to fill application form of IIT Bombay M.Tech Admission 2019
Candidates can follow these steps-wise procedure while filling the application form of IIT Bombay M.Tech 2019:

Step 1: Registration: Candidates will have to register first before filling the application form. For the registration, candidates will have to provide their birth category, eligibility criteria, qualifying percentage, GATE registration number, email address. After submitting, candidates will receive login id and secret key in their registered email address.
Step 2: Logging in: Candidates applying through GATE are required to login to application portal using their GATE registration number. Non-GATE qualified candidates will be able to login using User-id and secret key or password received via email. After log-in, candidates will have to enter required details in application form.
Step 3: Fill the Application Form for IIT Bombay M.Tech Admission 2019: Candidates will have to fill their application form by providing all relevant and valid information. Candidates will have to provide their personal, academic and contact details. Follow below mentioned points:
Enter personal details on the first and second page of application form. All relevant information needs to be entered.
Candidates will have to enter Statement of Purpose (SOP) if candidates have applied for any specialization like Aerospace Engineering (AE) or Technology and Development (TD)
Candidates who have applied for specialization in Electrical Engineering (EE), Chemical Engineering (CH) or Biomedical Engineering (BM) will have to provide information related to Final year project and others.
Step 4: Save and Continue: Candidates can save their application form after entering all relevant information in required fields. Click on continue to proceed to next step where candidates will have to upload documents in specified format.
Step 5: Upload Documents: Candidates will have to upload the documents in format as specified by the authority. The format and list of documents to be uploaded is listed in the table mentioned above. Refer to the table and upload all required documents in specified format.
Step 6: Online Payment: After the documents have been successfully uploaded, candidates will have to proceed to payment gateway for payment of application fees. Candidates will be able to make the payment of application fee through both online and offline mode. Online mode of payment can be done through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking and offline mode of payment can be done through Demand draft which has to be sent to IIT Bombay along with duly filled application form.

Step 7: Final Submission: Candidates must carefully check all the details entered in application form and correct all details wherever required before finally submitting.
Step 8: View/ Print Application: After the successful payment of application fee, candidate must download their application form in PDF format and get at least two printouts of the same for future reference.

IIT Bombay M.Tech Cutoff 2019
Admission authorities of Institute will release the cutoff of IIT Bombay M.Tech 2019 for candidates who wish to take admission to desired course. IIT Bombay M.Tech 2019 cutoff is the minimum marks which a candidate must secure in order to be eligible for getting admission in different M.Tech programmes at IIT Bombay. Cutoff of IIT Bombay M.Tech 2019 will differ for each programme and for each category.
After registering for IIT Bombay M.Tech admission 2019, candidates will be required to register for GATE Common Acceptance Portal (GATE COAP). Candidates will be able to check all the admission related offers for all GATE qualifiers. Candidates need to register themselves for GATE COAP from where they will be able to check all the offers made to them in their preferred course. Thereafter, candidates will have to report to institute to which they wish to get admitted in and complete all admission related formalities.

Dear Pramod, IIT Delhi has closed registrations for GATE 2020 as on October 5th, 2019 along with late fees. Now the correction window has been opened. At this juncture, registering for GATE 2020 is not a possibility. You may have to wait until the next year if you plan on appearing for GATE. For GATE 2020, you have been late.
