The JEE Mains 2026 result link has been activated on February 16, 2026. Below are the steps to check the JEE Main 2026 result. The process is very simple. Candidates can stick to the process mentioned below-
Go to the official NTA JEE Mains 2026 website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.
View the candidate activity section
It will have the ‘JEE Mains 2026 Result’.
Click on the link. It will open the login window.
Enter the login credentials and submit.
A new tab will appear. It will consist od candidate portal.
Find and click on the link for "View Scorecard."
The result for JEE Mains will be displayed.

It is quite possible that there may be certain issues while trying to download the JEE Main result. Here are some of the common problems and their possible solutions.
Incorrect login credentials- Use ‘forgot password’ or ‘forgot application number’.
Server error 503- Candidates need to wait it out. This error usually occurs due to excessive traffic on the server.
Internet issues- Check the network connection. Slow speed internet can hamper the login process.
In case of any other issue, candidates are advised to contact the NTA helpline immediately.
There is no difference in the process to check the result for JEE Mains session 1 and JEE Mains session 2. NTA will announce the JEE Mains 2026 result for session 2 by April 20. It will be a combined result for both sessions. Moreover, the final scorecard will mention the AIR rank as per CRL and category-wise list (if applicable). Apart from that, there is no change in the process to check the JEE Main result 2026 session 2.
