Careers360: Tell us something about the institute; when it was set up, its vision and mission.

Answer: The Rungta Educational Foundation is a prominent educational institution based in Central India. We have several colleges and institutes offering courses in various fields of study, including engineering, management, pharmacy, and more. It was established in the year 1999 with the establishment of its first college, Rungta College of Engineering and Technology (RCET), located in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. Since then, we have expanded and established several other educational institutions under its umbrella. Rungta College of Engineering and Technology, affiliated with the esteemed government technical university CSVTU, stands as a beacon of academic excellence. Careers360: Tell Us Something about the Admission Process.

Answer: We offer a transparent and user-friendly admission process. Our Technical courses are affiliated with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai. (CSVTU), Govt of Chhattisgarh & Approved by AICTE, New Delhi. So Admission to these technical courses is conducted through National level entrance exams such as JEE, GPAT, CAT, NIMCET, etc. for B. Tech, M.Pharma, MBA, and MCA respectively.

Alternatively, for the few Courses, the State Government also organizes local exams like PET, PPHT, PPT, etc. 85% of the seats are allocated based on merit marks obtained in these exams, while the remaining 15% of seats are available through the management quota.

Whereas, our professional and degree courses are affiliated with Hemchand Yadav University, Durg, Approved by Dept. of Higher Education. Govt. of Chhattisgarh So the admissions in these courses are based on the candidates' qualifying exam marks and on a Merit basis.
