is NCERT enough for cracking jee mains

Aditya Negi 15th Sep, 2019

Hey there

Many people say that NCERT is enough to crack JEE mains but I'll say it is partially true only for chemistry you can fully rely on NCERT but for physics and maths choose reference books like HC Verma, Rd Sharma etc. Also I advise you to fully solve and read your coaching materials and notes then only NCERT will help as it has written in a much compact way.

Check about JEE mains good luck

For the eligibility in jee mains and advance does we need to score individual 75% in maths physics and chemistry or we have to score total 75% which includes all the 5 subjects

Himanshu Ranjan 15th Sep, 2019
For all the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admission is based on the JEE Mains and Advanced ranks, they should have secured at least 75% overall  in the 12th class or to be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by thr respective board. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
