Rajasthan Leep 2019 - Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) will be conducting Lateral Entrance in Engineering Programs 2019 for different courses. Students seeking direct entry in second year of engineering government and self-financed institutions in the state of Rajasthan The admission process will be held for students seeking admission in direct second year of engineering in various branches. The counseling process will begin in the second week of June 2019. No separate entrance exam will be conducted for Rajasthan LEEP 2019 and applicants will be selected on merit base. RTU will conduct approximately four rounds of counselling on the basis of vacant seats available after each round. Applicants seeking admission in second year of engineering courses through LEEP 2019 must first check the eligibility criteria for the entrance exam. Rajasthan Technical University has laid out some eligibility conditions for admissions in B.Tech courses. The entrance exam is for students who have completed their diploma in engineering. All candidates must have scored 45% (40% in case of SC/ST reserved candidates, Non-Creamy Layer OBC/Non-Creamy Layer MBC candidates of Rajasthan) in their engineering diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject from a recognized AICTE institution. Candidates who have passed BSc. (Mathematics) from any UGC approved university are also eligible for admissions under LEEP 2019.

Candidates who have passed their B.Sc. in Mathematics are eligible for all branches.
Along with the above eligibility conditions, students also need to be medically fit for being part of the admission process. The conducting body has laid out some eligibility conditions regarding the medical health of the candidates and applicants are required to fill a separate medical fitness certificate along with the application form. A candidate will be considered medically fit only under these conditions:
Height for male candidates should not be less than 1.5 m and for female candidates, minimum height is 1.4 m.
Weight of male candidates should not be less than 41 kgs and for female candidates, the minimum weight limit is 37 kgs.
Male candidates must have a chest of at least 69 cm with satisfactory expansion and contraction.
Candidates must not have any kind of heart abnormalities
Any conditions of hernia, piles, hydrocele etc will lead to temporary disqualification of the candidate. However, students can get the conditions treated before the course of academic schedule for successful admission.
Candidate must have normal vision. In case of defective vision candidate are required to correct their vision to 6/9 in the better eye and 6/12 in the worse eye. Mining engineering aspirants must be completely free from colour blindness
All applicants must have a sound hearing. Any defect must be corrected before the start of the academic schedule.
