The seats are allotted on All India basis for the institutions funded by the Central Government with reservations as SC: 15%, ST: 7.5%. While reservation in defence (5%) and PWD (3%) will be in all categories in a horizontal manner. The OBC reservation will be at the undergraduate level only 27%.
For minority institutions located outside NCT of Delhi in NCR, the seats are reserved according to the request of the institutions for the appropriate minority segment. If seats remain vacant after this, they are allocated on an all-India basis with reservation as -SC: 15%, ST: 7.5%. The reservation in defence (5%) and PWD (3%) will be in all categories in a horizontal manner except minority seats.
For minority institutions located in the NCT of Delhi, the seats are reserved as per the request of the institution for the appropriate minority segment. After reserved seats, if seats are still vacant one left, they are allocated with reservation for self-financing institutions but on an all-India basis.
During IPU CET 2025 counselling, reserved category applicants will have to produce the caste or category certificate. The certificate should be in the name of the candidate. In case, the certificate is in the name of either of the parents that is mother or father it will not be accepted.
The reservation certificate, which a candidate will produce during document verification, should be issued from the respective state/region in which the reservation is claimed.
According to the institute admission rules, 10% of the total seats as per the policy of the Government of NCT Delhi will be allocated as management quota (unless surrendered by the institute) in self-financing institutions. However, there will be no management quota in University Schools of Studies, Minority status Institutions, and Government Institutions.
