How to Correct Aadhaar Name Mismatch in JEE Mains 2026 - NTA is allowing candidates to correct any Aadhaar name mismatch in the JEE Main 2026 application form. Candidates have to access the correct portal through the updated link in the JEE Main 2026 candidate login to rectify issues with Aadhaar name mismatch in the JEE Main 2026 application form. Those who wish to update their name in the JEE application form as per the Aadhaar name can do so before the last date. However, to avoid this issue, NTA has instructed candidates to update their Aadhar card name as per their class Xth certificate before starting the JEE Main 2026 registration. The JEE Main 2026 exam for session 2 is scheduled from April 2 to 9, 2026 (session 1). Candidates can go through this page for more details on the same. Previously, if the name on the Class 10 certificate and the Aadhaar card did not match, candidates were unable to proceed with the JEE Main application form. However, following multiple grievances from aspirants, the authority modified the application form process in the previous year. After closing the above-shown popup box, candidates can proceed to complete the application form.
The above step does not affect the aubmission of the JEE exam form 2026.

The process for the application form of JEE Main 2026 broadly involves the following steps-
Registration- Click on the JEE main application tab and provide basic details and contact information. A JEE Main login is created.
Filling the form- After registration, either proceed directly with the application or log in later using the credentials generated before. Fill in the details asked. Aadhaar details will be asked during this process. In case of JEE Main 2026 application Aadhaar mismatch, candidates will have to follow the above-mentioned steps.
Document uploading- Upload the class 10th mark sheet, photograph and signature. The authority has specified the document size requirements in the official brochure.
Fee payment- Proceed with the payment of JEE registration fees using internet banking, UPI or debit/credit card.
