Punjab B.Tech Counselling 2019 - The authorities has released the seat allotment of Punjab B.Tech 2019 Counselling (on the basis of 10+2 merit) on June 21. 2019. The counselling of Punjab B.Tech 2019 was conducted as an online centralized process. Registrations for Punjab B.Tech 2019 counselling for JEE Main candidates had commenced from May 30, 2019 for the first round. The candidates had to register and participate in the choice filling process of Punjab B.Tech counselling 2019. Firstly, the candidates had to submit the required counselling fee. Procedure of Punjab B.Tech Counselling 2019

The counselling of Punjab B.Tech 2019 has ended. The authorities conducted the Punjab B.Tech 2019 counselling in online mode separately for JEE Main and 10+2th standard qualified candidates. To participate in the counselling process, the candidates had to follow the given steps:

Step 1 - Payment of Counselling Fee

Step 6 - Second Round of Counselling

Step 1 - Payment of Counselling Fee: Firstly, the candidates had to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 2000 in online mode. The payment had to be done in online mode by selecting the preferred bank and take a print out of the e-deposit slip to deposit the cash in the respective bank. Manual cash deposit slip were not entertained in any of the banks. It should be remembered that the counselling fee was non-refundable.

Step 2 - Registration: The candidates had to register for the online Punjab B.Tech counseling 2019. Details such as JEE Main roll number, email address, mobile number, rank, name, date of birth, gender, category and more had to be submitted to register for the counselling. Since no changes could be made after submission of the form, the candidates were advised to check the provided details properly.

Step 3 - Choice Filling: Next, the candidates had to fill their preferred choices of colleges and courses. During the choice filling, the candidates had to fill maximum number of choices and should be in order of preference. The candidates were also able to rearrange or delete their choices. A print out of the choices should be taken out for future use.

Step 4 - Declaration of Allotment: The authorities have announced the allotment of seat in online mode for 10+2 qualified candidates. Allotment was done as per their merit, choice filling, category and availability of seats. To check the allotment status, the candidates had to log into their account, The result was also made available through SMS. The selected candidates have check and take a print out of the provisional allotment letter.

Step 5 - Reporting to Allotted College: Those candidates who have been allotted will have to visit their allotted college to complete the admission process. Document verification will be done and the candidates will have to pay the required fee. Reporting and completion of admission process should be done within the allotted dates.

Who can participate in 2nd Round of Punjab B.Tech 2019 Counselling?

Candidates falling into 85% Punjab quota and 15% other states quota could participate in the second round of counselling. They could participate irrespective of whether they had been allotted or not in the previous round. Those candidates who did not deposit the counselling fee in the earlier round had to do so in the second round.

  • Candidates have to note that it was important to read all the instructions related to counselling before registration.

  • The prescribed eligibility criteria had to be met by the candidates before participating in the counselling procedure.

  • Original certificates were advised not to be submitted at the college at the time of admission.

  • Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) will be applicable to IKGPTU & MRSPTU only. Fee waiver seats were not available in PAU, Ludhiana.
