Careers360: Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?

Careers360: Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?

Survey Sana: I am currently pursuing BTech CSE, and I am in my 2 nd year of study.

Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?

Survey Sana: Fitting in with new people and readapting to the traditional examination methods immediately after quarantine was a little tricky but the friend circle made the same quite easy. Ragging was never a concern as the seniors were really supportive and welcoming.

Careers360: What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc. for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?

Survey Sana: The activities offered by the institute range from a variety of extracurricular options to an extreme technical and educational model. There are many cultural and fun oriented clubs to cater to one’s passion and also to encourage participation in activities like photography, dance, music, fashion, comedy, theater, literature, gaming and much more. I have been more tech oriented, so I have taken up a coding club (ATC) and a web development club (Fullstack) as my main. I am also a proud member of the student council of Bennett University.

Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute – what do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?

Survey Sana: A typical day in the life of a BTech CSE student like me includes getting up early in the morning for my daily morning routine, followed by rushing up to the mess for breakfast. Most of my labs are scheduled at 8:30 am and I have to keep sprinting from one place to another to reach on time. We generally get free at around 12:30 pm for lunch and then we have our classes from 1:30 pm again. On average, we get free at around 4:30 pm which allows us to return to our rooms and freshen up till 5:30 where we rush for the snacks. This time of the day is mostly relaxed and carefree. We utilize the evening to take our time to relax and focus on our workout routine. We have our dinner at 8:00 pm and wake up till 1:00 am or less depending upon the intensity of the work, assignment, study and deadlines, before we go to sleep.

Careers360: Tell us about the faculty-student ratio here and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding.

Survey Sana: Faculty: student ratio is very good at BU where every student is offered with personal attention and the faculty are mostly encouraging and supportive towards the students.

Careers360: What facilities do you have on the campus? What do you like here the most which you feel is unique and differentiating?

Talking about the infrastructure, there are facilities including laundry, food (4 times a day), sports (including gym, swimming, athletics, football and basketball, squash, badminton, table tennis, tennis and cricket), eating joints ( 4 fast-food , 1 continental & 1 South Indian), TV studio , radio studio, technical and mechanical labs and a lounge area. In my opinion, the diverse food joints and a mega sports complex is really a differentiating factor.

Careers360: How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?

Survey Sana: The hostels serve a double sharing system and are quite comfortable. The rooms are cleaned twice a week on routine but the same can be requested as per the president’s schedule.

Careers360: What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?

Survey Sana: A wellness Center is a prominent part of the university’s infrastructure. It is well equipped and is always managed by a doctor and a medical assistant. The Centre strictly adheres to the covid 19 protocols and promises immediate attention. The setup comprises an ambulance as well that communicates with Kailash Hospital in case of emergency.

Careers360: How do you balance your studies, projects, exams and other activities?

Survey Sana: Dividing your daily hours into a broader category really helps organize your schedule. At this point, setting up priorities is crucial.

Careers360: Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus and how significant are they from your point of view or students’ point of view?

Survey Sana: As answered before, the clubs and societies at Bu capture a range of skills including extracurricular activities to stream/course-oriented activities. They are really significant when it comes to enhancing a person’s cv/resume as a fresher.

Careers360: Is there any in-house magazine or journal for the latest events or happenings at the institute?

Survey Sana: All the events at BU can be tracked through the official website and the various Instagram handles but our newsletter sums up all the activities at the end of the tenure.

Careers360: What are the popular hangouts at the institute? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?

Survey Sana: I don’t really explore many places outside campus but listening from my friends – Alpha 1 , Jagath Farms , Venice Mall and the stalls in the front of our University must be the most visited places by the students of BU.

Careers360: How do you spend your leisure time at the campus?

Survey Sana: I spend my leisure time working out, listening to music and writing poems in the open grounds.

Careers360: What type of companies come for campus recruitment and what percentage of students get placed every year? How is the recruitment process here?

Survey Sana: A variety of Tech companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Samsung, Xebia and various other companies. The recruitment process involves crossing a minimum CGPA criteria (7.00 generally) and writing an exam. The students are called up for a resume submission according to the merit. The shortlisted students are called for the interview before their confirmation.

Hello,

Bennett University offers admission to its BA LLB (Hons) program primarily based on candidates' performance in national-level entrance exams such as CLAT and CUET, as well as academic performance in Class XII.

The All India Law Entrance Test is an entrance exam conducted by the National Law University, Delhi, specifically for admissions to its own programs. As such, Bennett University does not consider scores for admission to its BA LLB (Hons) program.
