Karnataka Polytechnic admission 2025 is done through two modes -

• First-Cum-First Admissions - Admission to a total of 73 polytechnics is done through first cum first basis. Interested candidates have to visit these Polytechnics and complete the application formalities, pay the required fees and collect their admission offer letters to complete the admission formalities.
• Merit-based Admissions - 26 Polytechnic colleges in Karnataka offer admission on a merit basis. Students are required to visit these Polytechnics and complete the application formalities, within the period notified. Based on the scores, the authorities will release the merit list and accordingly, seat allotment results will be announced.

The authority will prepare the Karnataka Polytechnic merit list based on the marks secured in the qualifying exam. Candidates will be notified regarding the released merit list through SMS to the registered mobile number. After the release of the draft merit list, the candidates will be allowed to raise objections against it in case they find any errors or mistakes in it. Karnataka Polytechnic Counselling 2025
