The Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG) will release the eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech courses via their official website. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech course 2026 in Rajasthan as mentioned below-
Qualifying Marks: To be eligible for B.Tech admission in Rajasthan in 2026, candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) in any of the three subjects taken together.

Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates applying for Rajasthan B.Tech 2026 admission.
Medical Fitness: Candidates have to present a Medical Fitness Certificate after getting allotted to their institute and it should be certified by a Medical Officer of the Government of Rajasthan, meeting the medical standards as mentioned below:

To secure admission for B.Tech courses in Rajasthan through REAP, aspiring students must follow a series of steps. These include filling out the application form, uploading the necessary documents, and paying a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 250 through online mode.
After the results are declared, a merit list is generated with students' ranking presented based on the following priorities as mentioned in the table below-

If there is a tie between candidates in priority 2 or 3 of the table mentioned above, with equal percentile, the candidate with a higher merit/rank shall be determined in the following order:
Candidates having a higher percentage of marks in Mathematics in class 12th shall be given priority.
Candidates having a higher percentage of marks in Physics in class 12th Science shall be given a higher (better) rank.
The candidate with an older Date of Birth shall be given a higher (better) rank.
The candidate with a lower Form number shall be given a higher priority/better rank i.e. first applied, first served.
Students who have made it to the merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process to secure their admission to the Rajasthan B.Tech 2026 program. The counselling procedure is being conducted separately for candidates who belong to Rajasthan and those who come from other states.
Seat allotment will be carried out as follows:
85% of the seats will be reserved for candidates of Rajasthan
and the remaining 15% will be allotted to students from other states.
Candidates selected for counselling of Rajasthan B.Tech admission need to be aware of the documents that they will need to provide when reporting to the allotted institute. At the time of your first reporting, they need to deposit the requisite fee and self-attested copies of all your documents. Candidates need to submit their documents only during the last/final reporting institute after the allotment list for "Upward movement" is declared. To be fully prepared, make sure you have-
printout of your provisional seat allotment letter, which can be obtained from the REAP 2026 web portal using your login details. You should also have your recent colour photographs ready to paste on the application cum registration form, along with one additional coloured photograph.
