The Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG) will release the eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech courses via their official website. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech course 2026 in Rajasthan as mentioned below-

Qualifying Marks: To be eligible for B.Tech admission in Rajasthan in 2026, candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) in any of the three subjects taken together.

Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates applying for Rajasthan B.Tech 2026 admission.

Medical Fitness: Candidates have to present a Medical Fitness Certificate after getting allotted to their institute and it should be certified by a Medical Officer of the Government of Rajasthan, meeting the medical standards as mentioned below:

  • Height: Candidates must have a height not less than 1.5 m (male) and 1.4 m (female)
  • Weight: Weight should not be less than 41 kg (male) and 37 kg (female)
  • Chest: The chest measurement should not be less than 69 cm with satisfactory limits of expansion and contraction (for male candidates only).
  • Heart & Lungs: Candidates must have no abnormalities in their heart and lungs
  • Hernia, Hydrocele, Piles etc.: The presence of a hernia, hydrocele, piles, etc., will temporarily disqualify them from joining the courses of study.
  • Vision: Candidates' vision must be normal, and if defective, it must be corrected to 6/9 in the better eye and 6/12 in the worse eye. Eyes should be free from congenital and other diseases. Candidates must be free from colour blindness (inability to distinguish between principal colours) if applying for mining engineering courses.
  • Hearing and speech: Candidates' hearing and speech must be normal.

Rajasthan B.Tech Admission 2026 - Counselling

Students who have made it to the merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process to secure their admission to the Rajasthan B.Tech 2026 program. The counselling procedure is being conducted separately for candidates who belong to Rajasthan and those who come from other states.

Seat allotment will be carried out as follows:

  • 85% of the seats will be reserved for candidates of Rajasthan

  • and the remaining 15% will be allotted to students from other states.
