    How many attempts for JEE Advanced - There are two attempts for JEE Advanced 2026. However, few students are eligible for the JEE Advanced 2026 third attempt. As per the Supreme Court's order, candidates who dropped out of college in between certain dates in November 2025 are eligible to take 3rd attempt for JEE Advanced. Previously, the JEE Advanced attempts increased from two to three. However, the JEE Advanced attempt limit has been reverted to two attempts for two consecutive years. The JEE Advanced exam is conducted for the top 2,50,000 qualifying candidates of the JEE Main exam. IIT Roorkee will conduct the JEE Advanced 2026 exam on May 17, 2026. The authority will commence the JEE Advanced registration 2026 on April 23 for JEE-qualified candidates.
