The authority commenced the IPU B.tech 2024 offline counselling special round on September 3, 2024. JEE Main paper 1 qualified candidates who have the status "not allotted" on the day of counselling can report at the college on the day of counselling. In order to be allotted seats during the special offline counselling of IPU 2024, candidates must carry their certificates & a DD with the partial academic fee paid. The authority conducted the IPU B.Tech 2024 round 2 spot admission from August 14 to 19, 2024. The spot result was released on August 20, 2024 on the official website. Candiadtes had to download their IPU BTech seat allotment letter & pay the fees by August 23, 2024. The last date to report at the allotted institutes was August 24, 2024.

Here is the list of documents that need to be carried to the venue for IPU CET BTech counselling and seat allotment for Biotechnology. For more information, students should read the official notice released by the authority.
The authorities have commenced the IPU B.Tech counselling in an online mode. To participate in the counselling procedure, candidates have to pay counselling fees, register for it and fill in their choices of colleges and courses. JEE Main qualified candidates have to participate in IPU B.Tech 2024 counselling procedure in online mode. Candidates can refer to the below-given steps to get detailed information about IPU B.Tech 2024 counselling.
Step 1- Get registered: Candidates have to register for IPU B.Tech 2024 counselling. Below are the steps involved in registering for IPU B.Tech counselling 2024:
First, provide details such as JEE Main 2024 roll number, name, date of birth, the status of result, and visual code as mentioned on the screen
After the authentication, enter academic, personal, and contact details
Successfully registered candidates will receive login ID and password for IPU B.Tech counselling 2024.
Step 2- Filling out the application form and uploading of documents: Log in using the valid credentials and fill in all necessary details on the application form including personal details, contact details, qualification details etc.
Step 3- Submission of counselling fee: To participate in IPU B.Tech 2024 counselling, candidates have to pay non-refundable counselling fees (excluding bank charges) of Rs. 1500 (requisite fee) + Rs. 1000 (participation fee). The amount can be deposited either online (credit/debit card or net banking) or offline mode (challan through Indian Bank).
Candidates will be able to make payments through credit/debit cards or through net banking.

Sep 3- Fill choices of course: This step is really important. Here, candidates are required to choose the course and institution in order of their preference. This is because, based on choice filling and availability of seats, authorities will offer the seat. To fill the choices candidates will have to login to the portal using their credentials. Candidates are advised to select the maximum number of choices. This will enable candidates to get a seat in a desired course. Once the choices have been entered, candidates must take a printout.
Step 4- IPU B.Tech 2024 Seat Allotment: Based on merit and choices entered by candidates seats will be allotted to the candidates subject to matter of availability. Candidates can access the seat allotment by login into individual accounts. Those who will be allotted seats will have to download their provisional seat allotment letter and get a printout of the same. If candidates are satisfied with the allotted seat, to confirm it a partial academic fee of Rs. 40,000 will have to be paid and a receipt must be printed out. If candidates are not satisfied with the allotted seat, they opt any of the below options:
Freez allotted seat- If a candidate is satisfied with the allotted option in the counselling process, he/she can choose the freeze option which will mean that they don’t want to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling and are satisfied with the allotted seat.
Withdrawal and fee refund- If a candidate wishes to withdraw from allotted seats after payment of academic fees, he/she can opt for a withdrawal option. Candidates will then be considered for a spot round of counselling (if any).
Sliding of the allotted seat after the last round- Sliding round will also be conducted by the University.
If any seats remain vacant after allotting them, authorities will conduct the spot round of counselling. For the same, candidates will have to register separately within the given due date.
