The authorities will allot seats to the candidates on the basis of marks secured by them in qualifying examination tentatively in the second week of August. It should be noted that the allotted seat will be provisional as the authorities will hold the right to withdraw any allotment at any point of time.

Seat allotment of CENTAC 2020 will be based on various factors such as availability of seats, merit, and reservation.
For candidates belonging to Puducherry state, the admission will be offered on the basis of class 12th marks. On the other hand, candidates belonging to other states, the admission will be offered on the basis of JEE Main 2020 score.
While appearing for counselling for CENTAC seat allotment 2020, candidates should ensure that they carry all the relevant documents.
Candidates who will be eligible to participate in the counselling will be notified through call letters or public notification.
Once the candidates will be allotted with the seats, they can opt for any one of the following options:
Candidates can accept the seat and refuse to participate in the next round of CENTAC counselling 2020.
Candidates can accept the seat and can opt to participate in the next round of counselling. In this case, if a candidate is allotted with another seat then the earlier allotted seat will be offered to next candidate on the basis of the merit.
Candidates can reject the seat and opt to participate in the next round of counselling.
Candidates can reject the CENTAC seat allotment 2020 and opt out of the next rounds of counselling.
Many times two or more candidates score the same marks in the qualifying examination. In such cases, the authorities use the following process.
Candidate with higher marks in Mathematics will be placed higher.
If a tie persists, the percentage of marks in Physics will be considered.
If a tie still persists, the percentage of marks secured in optional subject will be considered.
If there is still a tie, the total marks in eligible subjects prescribed for the course will be considered. OR
Candidate who will be older in age will be given preference.
Finally, if a tie still persists then a random number will be assigned to candidates.
After the seat allotment will be done, the candidates will be required to report at the allotted institute along with the provisional allotment letter and other relevant documents.
It should be noted that failing to reach the venue on the specified date and time will result in the forfeiture of seat.
CENTAC seat allotment 2020 done by the authorities will be provisional in nature.

Whether you get seat in NIT Raipur depends upon from which category you belong if you belongs from ST or Sc then you will surely get seat but if you belong from General or Obc category then you may not get seat in NIT raipur because in 86.6 percentile your rank would be around 120000 and the last year cutoff for General category is 42,389 for all india category and for home state the cutoff was 91034 for BIOtech branch which is least preferable branch.

As per your percentile,your expected rank should be 4279 and with this rank it is very hard to get NIT Trichy,because the cut off of the colleges is very high,you can check last year cut off of NIT Trichy from here

The JEE advance clearance depends on two things; minimum marks secured in each subject and minimum aggregate marks. For ST category, last year, the minimum marks needs to be secured in each subject was 5 and minimum aggregate marks was 17.5. A revised cut off was also released which lowered the minimum marks aggregate marks to 12.5
