Candidates can find the details in the information brochure on the official website- centacpuducherry.in. The seat allotment of CENTAC includes students' names, merit ranks, merit scores allotment category, and status. Candidates need to check the CENTAC merit list first. Eligible applicants have to participate in the CENTAC counselling 2024 for successful seat allotment. The authority concluded the CENTAC application form 2024 process on June 10. The CENTAC 2024 round 1 seat allotment will be released on June 15.

The Centralised Admission Committee has defined the CENTAC eligibility criteria based on which students are considered for admission to undergraduate programmes. Applicants (unreserved) need to score a minimum of 45% in the 12 class. It is 40% for candidates belonging to OBC/ BCM/ MBC/ EBC/ BT/ SC/ ST. The authority determines the CENTAC 2024 cutoff on this basis. The shortlisted candidates have to fill in the choice of courses and colleges. The authorities provide the CENTAC 2024 seat allotment list based on choices filled by candidates and the availability of seats in the B.Tech institutes in Puducherry. A mock allotment list is released before the final CENTAC seat allotment list. It helps in predicting the CENTAC result 2024.
A candidate whose name is mentioned in the CENTAC allotment list 2024, can follow the following options.
They may accept the seat and refuse to participate in further rounds of CENTAC counselling.
They may accept the CENTAC seat so allotted and also opt to participate in the next round of counselling. If such candidates is allotted another seat in the next round of CENTAC counselling 2024, then the seat earlier allotted will be offered to the next candidate having his/ her name in the CENTAC allotment list 2024.
Candidates can also reject the CENTAC 2024 seat allotment and thus opt to participate in the next round of counselling.
If the candidates do not want to participate in the CENTAC 2024, they can opt out of the admission process altogether.
Candidates will be shortlisted through a merit list based on their performance in class 12 (Puducherry candidates) and JEE Main 2024 score (other state candidates).
CENTAC counselling 2024 will be conducted as per schedule.
CENTAC results for counselling will be announced online at the official website.
First, the mock CENTAC allotment list 2024 will be released allowing candidates to make any changes in the choices filled by them.
Later, the authorities will announce the final CENTAC seat allotment 2024 on the official website.
CENTAC admission 2024 will be done based on seat allotment results for candidates who report in person at the venue assigned for verification of documents and other formalities.
