CENTAC Counselling 2020 - The Centralized Admission Committee, Pondicherry will conduct the counselling of CENTAC 2020 tentatively in the third week of July. To participate in the CENTAC counselling 2020, candidates will have to pay the requisite fee and choose their preferred college and course. Admissions will be offered on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination. To confirm admission, candidates will be required to attend the counselling in person at specified date and time. It should be noted that candidates who will fail to reach the counselling venue on time will not be offered admission. To confirm admission, candidates will be required to attend the CENTAC 2020 counselling in person at specified date and time.
Candidates will be required to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 750 (350 for SC/ST category) in an online mode (debit card/credit card/net banking).
After the counselling of CENTAC 2020, the authorities will allot seats to the candidates on the basis of merit.
CENTAC counselling 2020 will be conducted through the centralised process.

Many times a condition arises where two or more candidates score the same marks in the qualifying examination. In such cases, the authorities use the following process to break the tie.
Candidate with higher marks in Mathematics will be given preference.
If a tie persists, the percentage of marks in Physics will be prefered.
If a tie still persists, the percentage of marks secured in optional subject will be prefered.
If there is still a tie, the total marks in eligible subjects prescribed for the course will be prefered. OR
Candidate who will be older in age will be given preference.
Finally, if a tie still persists then a random number will be assigned to candidates.

inorder to get admission through jee mains result you need to qualify the mains exam. as per the expected cutoff for this year for general category it is about 89.75 percentile but you have only 78.37 . so it is hard for you to get admission in pondicherry engineering college through merit list basis. work hard and do well in the next sessioin of the jee mains
