PDPU B.Tech Counselling 2020: Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University will conduct PDPU B.Tech 2020 counselling in offline mode in campus for various UG engineering programmes. Candidates who will be fulfilling the eligibility criteria of PDPU B.Tech 2020 will be invited to participate in the counselling process. Candidates will be called for PDPU B.Tech counselling 2020 based on the merit list prepared for JEE Main and GUJCET qualified candidates, separately. Candidates must note that admission to 50% of the total seats will be done through GUJCET 2020. While admission to 35% of total seats will be offered through JEE Main 2020. Therefore, it is a must for candidates to qualify any of these two examinations to be eligible to participate in PDPU B.Tech 2020 counselling. The admission authority will offer seats to candidates whose name appears in merit list prepared separately for both GUJCET 2020 and JEE Main 2020. For candidates who will be applying for PDPU B.Tech admission 2020, authority will prepare the merit list for them based on JEE Main 2020 and GUJCET 2020 scores, separately. Eligible candidates can check their merit rank and download the provisional allotment letter by following the following given below steps:

For shortlisted candidates, counselling letter will be available.

To participate in the PDPU B.Tech 2020 counselling process, candidates will have to follow mentioned below steps: The steps stated below will inform candidates about how to attend and register for the counselling process, seat allotment and more.
Steps involved in PDPU B.Tech Counselling 2020
Get register: Shortlisted candidates will have to report to campus on the scheduled date and time to register themselves for the counselling process. During registration, candidates will have to fill their choices of colleges and courses in order of their preference. Along with this, they will be required to submit other requisite information.
Document Verification: Once registered, candidates will be required to produce their seat allotment letter along with other original requisite documents for verification. Candidates must note that it is important to carry photocopies of required documents along with the original one for verification. Below are the documents that will be required for counselling process:

Latest passport size color photo of the candidate
Seat Allotment: Once document verification is complete, seat will be allotted to the candidates based on their merit, choices filled and availability seats. Candidates who will be allotted seats will be issued provisional seat allotment letter. Candidates will have to download the letter and proceed further.
Pay Counselling Fees of PDPU B.Tech 2020: Candidate who will be allotted seats will have to pay admission fees to confirm their admission.Candidates will be required to pay Rs. 1,26,500 (including Rs. 13,000 as refundable amount) at the time of admission. The payment can be made either through online or offline mode. In online mode, payment can be done through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking. While in offline mode, candidates will have to draw a demand draft in favour of ‘Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University’ payable at Ahmedabad. Incase candidate fail to pay fees on time, his/her allotment will be cancelled.
Key Points related to PDPU B.Tech Counselling 2020
Candidates will be allotted seats to PDPU based on merit list prepared by admission authority, category of candidate and availability of seat in respective programme.
If a candidate is unable to attend the counselling process due to unavoidable reason, they can authorise their guardians to attend the process on their behalf. However, for this guardians must get along a request-cum-authority letter from candidate with all required original documents.
Candidates who fails to attend counselling process without informing will not be considered for further processes.

Generally Cutoffs changes every year and it is a JEE mains cutoffs then it is bound to change being volatile figure. It depends upon various factors like number of Students appearing for the exam, Difficulty level of the paper, performance of the students in the exam.
But in general if you follow the previous few year trends then if you score 90+ then you are safe.
