Diploma in Engineering 2nd Year Lateral Entry

Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognised Board along with any three subjects out of Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship with 50% (45% for SC/ST and PwD candidates) marks.

OR

Candidate must have passed a full-time ITI of two years course in the relevant area from a recognised Board with 50%(45% for SC/ST and PwD candidates) marks.

OR

NIELIT ‘O’ Level

OR

A candidate completing 10+1 years of Diploma (C. Voc.) or equivalent vocational training with level 3.5.

BTech

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and any one out of Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

OR

Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.

OR

A candidate completing 10+2 years with a Diploma of Vocation or having passed 12th std. or equivalent vocational training with level 4.

BTech Lateral Entry (For Direct Admission in 2nd Year)

Passed Minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology.

OR

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

Passed B.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector
