The answer key challenge process is one where the aspirants have the option to challenge the correctness of answers that have been released in the answer key. Candidates can raise objections for Rs 200 per question if they believe a response is incorrect. They must submit a valid document. All challenges are reviewed by subject experts appointed by NTA. If the objection is found valid, the answer key is updated accordingly. The revised answer is then used for calculating results.
To raise an objection, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee per question. The JEE Main 2026 answer key challenge fee is 200 per question.
