  • Computer Science and Engineering : 395

  • Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering : 1,165

  • Mechanical Engineering : 5,631

Eligibility and Process:

  • Check Eligibility: Each college has its specific criterion for transferring candidates. You should know that WCE has its specific requirements for transfer applicants, such as academic eligibility, available seats, or other special conditions for civil engineering students.
  • Contact the Admissions Office: Contact WCE's admissions office or academic coordinator to discuss your case. They can explain further the procedure and even give you a specific list of what documents will be required if there are any.
  • Prepare Documents: Generally, you would need to present a copy of your academic transcript, transfer application, and sometimes, letters of recommendation. Make sure that your documents are complete and ready for you to present in front of the people from WCE.

  • Application Transfer: The application process for transfers into WCE may require filling out an application form and presenting other documents as well as possibly attending a meeting.
  • Decision and Admission: After applying, wait for WCE to respond with a decision. Thereafter, continue with their steps for enrollment and induction.

Preparation and Thoughts:

  • Academic Record: Keep working hard to ensure that you have a sound academic record at KIT to upgrade your prospects of a smooth transfer
  • Reason for Transfer: Clearly define reasons for shifting places- whether it is due to better facilities or faculty, or any other reason.
  • Financial and Logistics: There may be financial or logistics concerns in connection with the move.
