WBJEE 2026 was easy to moderate. Out of the three subjects, Maths was the most tough one, whereas Physics and Chemistry were comparatively easier. The paper had a mix of direct, idea based, and problem solving questions, mostly aligned with the WBJEE syllabus. If we compare it with WBJEE 2025, this year WBJEE paper was a more conceptual.

1. Physics: Physics was on a tougher level. Most difficult paper was Physics out of all the subjects. The Physics question paper was lengthy and students needed proper time to solve it. Those who studied well could tackle the paper but they also felt it was a bit lengthy.
2. Chemistry: Chemistry question paper was moderate and students found it easier than the other subjects. It was easy to tackle as compared to other subjects. Students were able to solve Chemistry questions within time.
3. Mathematics: The Mathematics question paper was on a moderate side. But it was a bit lengthy and repeated questions were there. Those who studied through previous years question papers as we suggested, could solve more questions.
