QnA related to WBJEE

Ask your question related to WBJEE

Based on the WBJEE 2024 data, scoring 110 or 105 marks would likely place you in the rank range of approximately 10,001 to 15,000, as per the expected marks vs. rank analysis . (https://zollege.in/exams/wbjee/marks-vs-rank?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

For admission to the Information Technology (IT) department at Jadavpur University, the cutoff ranks are quite competitive. In 2024, the closing rank for IT was around 295 for the open category . This suggests that candidates needed to secure a rank within the top 300 to gain admission into the IT program. (https://www.collegedekho.com/university/jadavpur-university-cutoff?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

Given this information, with a score of 110 or 105, it would be challenging to secure a seat in the IT department at Jadavpur University under the general category. However, cutoff ranks can vary each year based on factors like the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and seat availability.

If you belong to a reserved category, the cutoff ranks might be slightly relaxed, but the competition remains high. It's advisable to aim for a higher score to increase your chances of admission into the IT department.

If the WBJEE portal displays "Login schedule is over," it usually means that the time window for accessing the portal has ended. This could be due to the deadline for application submission, corrections, or admit card download being over. To resolve this, check the official WBJEE website for any updates or announcements regarding extended dates . Additionally, try clearing your browser cache, using a different device, or switching to another browser . If the issue persists, consider contacting the WBJEE helpdesk for clarification or further assistance.

Hello,

Yes, NITs, IIITs (JoSAA), and private colleges (VIT, MHT CET, WBJEE) generally accept NIOS improvement marksheets if they meet the eligibility criteria. While filling the JEE form, enter details from the latest marksheet (NIOS improved subjects) to avoid confusion. Past cases show students with NIOS improvement getting admission. However, check specific college policies, as some may have restrictions on improvement exams from open boards.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

Hi Mridul,

Scoring 120 marks in the WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) is achievable with the right preparation and strategy, but the difficulty level depends on various factors, including your current preparation level, understanding of the syllabus, and practice.

Factors that influence Difficulty:

1. Syllabus and Understanding:

  • The WBJEE syllabus is based on the 11th and 12th-grade Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics topics.
  • If your fundamentals in these subjects are clear, reaching 120 marks becomes easier.

2. Paper pattern:

  • The WBJEE is divided into three sections: Mathematics (100 marks), Physics (50 marks), and Chemistry (50 marks).
  • A strong performance in Mathematics can significantly contribute to achieving 120 marks.

3. Negative Marking:

  • There is negative marking for incorrect answers in Category I and II questions. Avoid wild guessing to prevent unnecessary loss of marks.

4. Preparation Level:

  • Regular practice of previous year question papers and mock tests will help you understand the difficulty level and time management.

It depends on your preparation. With dedicated effort, regular practice, and a clear understanding of concepts, scoring 120 marks is not overly difficult. However, it requires discipline, a structured plan, and consistent hard work. You can also visit the given link to know more.

All the best!

Thank you

Just whatever you have done Re-revise it and give mock tests if assume mock tests are of 300 marks as JEE mains then give mock tests no matter how much syllabus you have completed. If you have not yet studied anything then first check the weightage of JEE Chapters and then watch manzil series for those chapters on JEE WALLAH channel. Then give mock tests and then lets assume in the first test you scored just 80/300, now you want atleast 200+ to be on a safer side and to book you seat in tier 2 colleges like NIT, DTU, NSUT then just give mock tests again and again at least give 100+ mock tests because mock tests are the best thing to do if you want to revise aim for increasing your marks in every mock test as we discussed earlier assume you scored 80/300 then try scorin 82 or 83 in the next mock test this will also increase your score and boost your confidence.

Well at this moment IIT is a bit difficult but yes for sure you can still crack it you surely get into top tier 2 govt. colleges!!!

BEST OF LUCK FOR THE FUTURE!!

Do let me know.. hoping to receive a good news!
