UPSEE Result 2020 - Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will release UPSEE 2020 result tentatively in the first week of June in online mode. To check and download the result of UPSEE 2020, the candidates will have to log in using their roll number and date of birth. Along with the personal details, the total and subject wise scores, obtained ranks and other information is declared through UPSEE result 2020. A merit list will be prepared by the authorities based on the scores mentioned in the result of UPSEE 2020. Counselling will be based on the scores secured by the candidates in UPSEE 2020 result. The given steps have to be followed by the candidates to check and download the result of UPSEE 2020.
Go to the official website of UPSEE 2020
Click on the result link
Candidates will have to enter their UPSEE 2020 roll number and date of birth.
Click on “Submit”
The result will be displayed on the screen
All of the details have to be checked for any discrepancy.
The result has to be downloaded and two printouts have to be taken for future use.
Candidates will be able to check the following information in the result of UPSEE 2020. If there is any discrepancy in the result, the candidates will have to contact the authorities:
Name of the candidate
Roll number of the candidate
Category and sub-category
Name of the paper
Marks secured in each subject
Total marks secured by the candidates
AKTU will prepare and release the merit list of UPSEE 2020 separately for each B.Tech programmes offered by the participating institutes. Scores secured by the candidates in the entrance examination will be taken into account while preparing the merit list. Ranks will be allotted as per the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination. All candidates who are listed out in the merit list will be able to participate in the counselling procedure.
There may arise a situation when two or more candidates end up securing the same scores in UPSEE 2020. The tie will be resolved by the authorities by following the given guidelines as per the order.
Candidate who has lesser number of incorrect answers will be ranked higher.
If the tie is not resolved, then the candidate who has more marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry section of Paper 1 will be allotted a higher rank.
If the tie still remains, then the candidate who older in age will be ranked higher.
If the candidates are of the same age, then the rank will be allotted on the basis of the application number i.e., the lowest application number will be ranked higher in the merit list.
The authorities will calculate the scores secured and released through the result of UPSEE 2020 by following the official marking scheme.

The cutoff of UPSEE 2020 will consist of the minimum ranks that has to be secured by the candidates for higher chances of admission. The authorities will prepare the cutoff after checking various factors related to the entrance examination. Candidates can check the previous years qualifying cutoff as reference since the present session cutoff has not been released.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
Candidates who qualify the entrance examination will be able to participate in the counselling of UPSEE 2020. Registration has to be completed after which the documents will be verified. Online choice filling and locking has to be done by the candidates as per preference. Seat allotment will be done as per the secured ranks, preference selected and availability of seat. Four rounds of counselling along with spot rounds will be conducted by the authorities.
