NTA activated the link for the application form on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main registration 2026 commenced on October 31, 2025. As per a JEE Main 2026 notification, candidates were instructed to ensure that the Aadhaar card details are correct and the category/UDID card is updated and renewed if required. The last date for the JEE Main 2026 session 1 registrations is November 27, 2025. Candidates must complete the registration with valid information to avoid rejection of the JEE form. Nonetheless, the JEE Mains correction window will be activated for those who wish to edit the application. The National Testing Agency will conduct the JEE Main 2026 exam in two sessions in January and April 2026, respectively.

The JEE Main 2026 session 1 result will be announced on February 12, while the session 2 result will be declared on April 20. Both sessions will be held in computer-based mode, except for the BArch drawing test, which will be conducted offline in pen-and-paper format.

Invalid Personal Details: While registering for JEE Mains 2026 candidates had to provide valid personal details, communication details, electronic communication details, and permanent address. Applicants must provide their details as mentioned in the Aadhar or Class 10th marksheet. If the information does not match the mentioned documents, the application will be rejected. Also, valid electronic communication details must be provided during registration.

Fail to upload Proper Documents: Applicants had to upload recent photographs, signatures, Class 10 or Equivalent Certificate/Mark sheet, a scanned copy of identity proof, and a copy of PwD/PwBD/UDID certificate (PwD Certificate). If the mentioned documents are not in proper format, then the form will get rejected.

Candidates should log in using the JEE login credentials to check the status of their application fee.

You should select Jharkhand for the JEE Mains application form because you will be reappearing in the exam as a private candidate in Jharkhand. The state you will be appearing in and your passing year are what you should fill in your JEE Mains application form, but not your 12th class state.

You should take pure mathematics if you want to pursue AI engineering at IIT after JEE, because the syllabus of JEE Advanced is based on pure mathematics, so it will help you to have a strong base foundation in the concepts. You can perform well in your exam.
