JEE Main 2026 Aadhaar Verification: Candidates should be careful about the details they enter in the JEE Mains 2026 application form. As per the official notification, candidates are required to enter their name, Date of Birth, Gender, Photograph, and Address as per their Aadhaar card. The NTA will do the JEE Main 2026 Aadhar verification accordingly. All the details mentioned in the JEE Main application form must align with the Aadhar card. The NTA has issued a JEE Main advisory for students to understand the whole JEE Main application process in a better way. The JEE Main has started its application process from October 31, 2025. According to the latest update from the National Testing Agency (NTA), calculators are strictly prohibited in JEE Main 2026. The agency clarified that a mention of calculators in the JEE Main 2026 information bulletin was a "typographical error."

The NTA has released the JEE Main Aadhar card verification details. Candidates can find the JEE Main application details on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The authority has officially released the advisory. Candidates are advised to fill in the application form details like name, date of birth, gender, photograph, and address correctly. All the details filled should be according to the candidate’s Aadhar card. The NTA will verify all the candidates’ details and information from the Aadhar Card.
The authority states that candidates will be able to correct the name mismatch in the Aadhar card from the application form. The JEE Main registration 2026 has started from October 31, 2026. Candidates are required to use the following process: in case of a name mismatch

If the Aadhaar number and personal details match , the photo on your old Aadhaar is not a problem . Many students use Aadhaar with an old photo, and NTA accepts it as long as the details are correct.
Since you have not done final submission yet , you can try once more to edit the Aadhaar number. If the portal still does not allow changes, just continue with the form. It will not cause rejection.
For the exam day, carry:
Your updated Aadhaar (new one)
The JEE admit card
