PECE 2020 - JCECEB will conduct the PECE 2020 (Jharkhand Polytechnic exam) tentatively in the last week of May. The application form of PECE 2020 will tentatively be released in the last week of March. PECE 2020 is conducted to offer admissions to diploma engineering courses offered by institutes in Jharkhand. Candidates will be able to submit the PECE 2020 application form tentatively by the second week of May and they should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria required to appear for the exam. The admit card of PECE 2020 will be released for eligible candidates tentatively in the third week of May. PECE questions will be based from three subjects - Maths, Physics & Chemistry of class 10th syllabus. The result of PECE 2020 will be declared tentatively in the second week of June, followed by the counselling process which will begin tentatively from the last week of June. PECE Eligibility Criteria 2020

Checking the eligibility criteria of PECE 2020 should be the first step taken by candidates seeking admission to diploma engineering courses offered by polytechnic institutes in the state of Jharkhand.   • Candidates should be a permanent or local resident of Jharkhand

  • Candidates should have parent(s) who is or are central government employees employed in Jharkhand

  • Candidates should have parent(s) who is or are state government employee or works with government-aided organizations

Age Limit

There is no age limit. But candidates applying for mining engineering should be at least 17 years old as on 1st July 2020.

Qualifying Examination

  • Candidates should have qualified class 10 with a minimum of 35% marks.

  • Candidates appearing for class 10th or equivalent examination in 2020 will also be eligible for PECE 2020.

PECE Application Form 2020

The application form of PECE 2020 is one of the most important forms to be filled by the candidates. This is because, through the PECE 2020 application form, candidates make themselves eligible to appear for the entrance examination. Candidates should always check the eligibility criteria as any ineligibility found will lead to rejection of candidature. Steps to fill PECE 2020 Application Form

Step 1 - Registration - In order to fill the application form of PECE 2020, candidates will have to complete the registration process by entering the name, email ID, password, and mobile number. After entering the details, candidates will receive a confirmation message on the registered mobile number and email Id. Candidates will have to confirm it to proceed forward.

Step 3 - Payment of Application Fee- To complete the application form of PECE 2020, candidates will have to make a payment of application fee in online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (e-challan).

PECE Admit Card 2020

The examination authorities will release the admit card of PECE 2020 tentatively in the third week of May for all the eligible candidates. The admit card will be released on the official website and will include many details such as a candidate's name, scanned photograph, examination name, date, centre address, etc.. Candidates are advised to check the details mentioned on the admit card carefully and in case of any discrepancy they should contact the authorities as soon as possible.

PECE Answer Key 2020

The authorities will release the answer key of PECE 2020 after the examination is over. The answer key will contain the correct answer for all the questions that will be asked in the examination. This will help candidates know their probable secured marks in PECE 2020. The calculation can be done by comparing their responses with the correct responses and calculating the marks according to the total number of correct responses and incorrect responses. PECE Result 2020

JCECEB will declare the result of PECE 2020 tentatively in the second week of June in online mode. PECE 2020 result will include the subject-wise as well as total aggregate marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam along with the rank. Candidates who will be a part of the rank list will be eligible to participate in the counselling and seat allotment of PECE 2020.

PECE Counselling 2020

The counselling and seat allotment process of PECE 2020 will commence from the last week of June. Candidates who will be a part of PECE 2020 merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling procedure. In order to participate in the counselling process, candidates will have to follow certain steps such as registration, locking of choices, and payment of counselling fee. After each round of counselling, seat allotment will be conducted and all the allotted candidates will have to reach the allotted institute with relevant documents at scheduled date and time.
