REAP Merit List 2018 - Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG), the conducting body of the admission process has released the final merit list of REAP 2018 for Rajasthan state candidates in online mode on July 11. Candidates can check the merit list by log-in into their accounts. Provisional merit list of REAP 2018 was released in online mode on July 7. Candidates are advised to take print out of the revised merit list. Candidates need to note that REAP merit list 2018 is published separately for JEE Main candidates and those seeking admission based on Class XII exam results. Not only this, REAP 2018 merit list is available for each of the reserved categories, including horizontal reservation. Moreover, the candidates belonging to one category will not be considered for admission under another category.
For REAP, merit list is prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained by the candidates in JEE Main 2018. Qualified candidates will be called for counselling and seat allotment process on the basis of merit list of REAP 2018. In the first round, candidates from out of Rajasthan state would be given allotment of seat based on merit list. In the second round, candidates from Rajasthan state (having Rajasthan Domicile) will be given seat allotment based on merit list. Candidates are advised to register on the basis of JEE Main 2018 rank as it would be given higher priority in comparison to class XII marks/ percentile in preparing the combined merit list during all the stages of counselling in REAP 2018. The allotment/ counselling process will be carried out on the basis of combined merit list. Seats will be allocated to the candidates into different REAP participating institute on the basis of the rank secured by them in REAP 2018 merit list.
Note: Candidates having discrepancies are conditionally displayed in the tentative merit list. Such candidates will not be considered in final merit and subsequent seat allotment if they do not resolve discrepancies. Please check your registered email and mobile in this regard.
If seats are left vacant, they will be offered to the candidates with no JEE Main scores. It will be offered on the basis of their Class XII marks and the choice of the programme filled by them. REAP 2018 is conducted for the admission to B.Tech courses in government-financed and private unaided technical institutions affiliated to RTU M.B.M. Steps to check REAP 2018 Merit List
For the ease of the candidates to check REAP merit list 2018, mentioned below are the few steps by following which candidates can easily view the merit list.

REAP Merit List 2018 for Non-JEE Candidates
In case of the vacant seat, it will be allocated to the non-JEE Main candidates on the basis of their marks scored in class XII board examination. Not only class XII examination marks will consider, they admission authority will also consider the choice of the programme made by the non-JEE Main candidates.
Procedure to break the tie of REAP Merit List 2018
There are certain cases where two or more candidates score the same marks in the entrance exam. For such cases, examination authority has created a rule to break the tie. In case of REAP 2018 also there is tiebreaker process where the JEE Main 2018 scores of two or more candidates are equal, the inter-se-merit will be resolved by following mentioned below process.
Step 1- Higher merit rank will be given to the candidate who gets more marks in Mathematics.
If a tie still exists, step 2 is taken into consideration.
Step 2- Here candidates who score more in Physics will be given a higher merit rank
If a tie still exists, step 3 is taken into consideration.
Step 3- If candidates get equal marks in both Physics and Mathematics, the age of the candidate will be taken into consideration. The older candidate will be placed higher in the merit list.
If a tie still exists, step 4 is taken into consideration.
Step 4- In the last step, randomization will be used and the higher rank will be given as per the result.
REAP Counselling and Seat Allotment 2018
Candidates who qualify the REAP merit list 2018 will be called for counselling and seat allotment process. Candidates need to note that REAP 2018 counselling will be held separately for the Rajasthan candidates and candidates residing outside Rajasthan. Not only this, candidates residing in Rajasthan will be considered for up gradation/ upward movement. Candidates will have to get register themselves.
To check the REAP 2018 seat allotment, the candidate can log in to the seat allotment portal using their REAP log-in credentials. Selected candidates will have to download the seat allotment of REAP 2018 letter and report at the alloted institute within the prescribed time.
