OJEE Application Form 2018 - The OJEE Board had released the application form of OJEE 2018 for the special entrance examination. Candidates who have not qualified JEE Main can now fill the application form till July 13, 2018. For JEE Main qualified candidates, OJEE 2018 application form was released on June 18 in online mode. Candidates who want to participate in the web-based counselling of OJEE for admission to B.Tech courses in engineering colleges in Odisha on the basis of JEE Main could fill the OJEE application form 2018 before the last date i.e., June 27. The OJEE 2018 application form filling process includes a number of steps like registration, paying of the registration-cum-counselling fee, and choice filling and choice locking. For registration, the candidate will need a valid email ID and mobile number. Upon registration, the application fee of OJEE has to be paid in online mode only. During exercising of choice locking while filling the application form of OJEE 2018, the candidate had to enter the choices in the order of preference and save the choices, which could be locked by the candidate once choice locking facility is activated. How to fill OJEE Application Form 2018?


The application form of OJEE 2018 for JEE Main qualified candidates has ended. Registrations for the special OJEE exam is still open. When filling the OJEE 2018 application form, the candidate will have to furnish a variety of information, including academic and personal details, upload photographs and other documents and also pay the counselling-cum-admission fee. The entire sequence of events related to filling of the OJEE application form 2018 is described below:

  • Registration

  • Payment of registration-cum-counselling fee

  • Exercise of Choice Filling

  • Checking of Mock Result

  • Locking of choices

Step 1 – Registration

The first step to fill the application form of OJEE 2018 is registration. Before starting the registration process, the candidate must go through the guidelines mentioned in the counselling brochure. Also, only Internet Explorer (IE) 6.0 or above should be used for the registration process.

  • Click on the OJEE registration link given above

  • Click on “New Registration”

  • Read and consent to all the terms and conditions provided

  • Enter the following details:

    1. Course of study

    2. JEE Main 2018 Roll Number

    3. Date of Birth

  • Click on “Submit” to move to the next stage.

The candidate will be redirected to a page that will display the information the candidate has recently entered. The page will also have new fields that have to be filled:

  • Address

  • Mobile number

  • Bank details, etc.

These details will be used for future communication. Also, the candidate will receive OTP on the registered mobile number; other important information will also be sent to the registered number.


Enter and confirm password:

The candidate has to enter a password of his/her choice and then re-enter it for confirmation. The chosen password must be between 8-13 characters and contain at least:

  • One capital letter

  • One small letter

  • One numeric character

  • One special character [!,@,#,$,%,^,&,*]

Step 2 – Payment of Registration fee

The next step in filling the OJEE application form 2018 is payment of the registration-cum-counselling fee, which can be paid only in online mode.

Step 3- Exercise of Choice filling

Upon successfully registering for OJEE 2018, the candidate has to next exercise choice filling.

  • Click on “Fill Choices” option in the MENU bar of the screen

  • An instruction page will open telling the candidate how to fill choices. Read the guidelines before proceeding further

  • The choice filling page will consist of two blocks

    1. Left block – It will list the available colleges and branches in alphabetical order

    2. Right block – The selections made by the candidate will be displayed here

  • Give as many choices to have a better chance of getting admission

  • Arrange the filled in choices in the order of preference.


Step 4 – Checking of Mock Result


The mock result has been released by the admission authorities. It informs the candidate about his/her seat allotment status. Based on this information, the candidate were able to make alterations to the choices.


Step 5- Locking of Choices


Choice locking facility was activated on June 26. Before locking choices, the candidate had to confirm that the choices are correctly entered. If the candidate wanted to make any changes, it had to be made before locking of choices. To lock choices:

  • Click on the “Lock” option

  • An OTP will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number

  • Enter the OTP in the designated space and click “Submit”

  • The choices would be locked

  • Take a printout of the locked choices for future reference by clicking on “print locked choice” button.

What if choices are not locked?


In that case, the last exercised choices were automatically locked once the choice filling period expires.


Locking was a one-time facility and no changes were allowed once a choice (choices) had been locked. So, the candidate had to be fully sure about the choices before locking them.
