The authority has extended the last date for JKCET 2025 round 2 seat allotted candidates to report to the institutes to July 1, 2025. The JKCET 2025 counselling is being done in 3 rounds with one additional mop-up round. The JKCET counselling 2025 round 3 registration will start from July 1 to 3, 2025, while round 3 seat allotment will be released on July 6, 2025.

The JKCET 2025 counselling registration and choice filling for round 2 was concluded on June 19, 2025. The authority has released the JKCET 2025 eligibility criteria along with the official notification. Applicants were advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the JKCET application for 2025. Age Limit – Candidates should be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2025. There is no upper age bar.
Domicile - The candidates should be permanent residents of J&K state.
Education Qualification – Should have qualified 10+2th (or equivalent) examination from a recognized statutory Board/University. Those candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying examination in 2025 will also be allowed to participate. English. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics should have been studied and qualified by the candidates.
Minimum Marks Required – At least 50% marks should have been secured in the qualifying exam by the candidates belonging to Open Merit including the Children of Defence Personnel, Children of Paramilitary Forces, Children of State Police Personnel, and candidates possessing outstanding proficiency in Sports in the qualifying exam. For SC/ST and other Socially and Educationally Backward Classes candidates, the mark required is 40%.

With the help of the answer key of JKCET 2025, candidates can calculate their estimated score before the declaration of the result.
