JKCET 2019 - Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) will be conducting JKCET 2019 on April 21 in offline mode. JKCET 2019 will be conducted for all those candidates who are seeking seeking admission to various B.tech programmes offered by different institutes in Jammu and Kashmir. The application form for JKCET 2019 will be available from February 1 to 28, in online mode. Candidates also need to pay the application fees of JKCET 2019 along with filling the form. JKCET Eligibility Criteria 2019
Candidates who will be applying for the entrance exam must check and meet the eligibility criteria of JKCET 2019. BOPEE will be prescribing the JKCET 2019 eligibility criteria which will include parameters like age criteria, qualifying examination, marks required and so on. Nationality- Candidates must be permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir.
Qualifying Examination- Candidates must have passed class 12 or any other equivalent exam from a recognized statutory Board/ University with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their subjects.
Qualifying Marks- Candidates belonging from General category must secured minimum of 50% aggregate marks in class 12 or any other equivalent exam, whereas 40% aggregate marks is required by reserved categories.
Candidates appearing for class 12 or any other equivalent exam in 2019 can also apply for JKCET 2019.
Candidates applying under TFW category will be considered as open merit candidates.
Age Criteria- Candidates must be at least 17 years old on December 31 of the relevant year (2019)
The application form of JKCET 2019 will be available from February 1 in online mode. The last date to apply is February 28, 2019. Candidates willing to appear for the entrance exam will have to pay the application fee of JKCET 2019 along with the form. How to Fill JKCET 2019 Application form
To fill and submit the application form of JKCET 2019, follow the mentioned below steps:
Step1- Ready all the documents like scanned copy of images of photograph and signature, marksheet of class 12 and 10, caste certificate etc.
Step 2- Visit and click on the JKCET application form 2019 link
Step 3- Get register by filling the requisite details like name, date of birth, qualifying examination and marks etc. Once registered, application number will be generated.
Step 4- Log-in with the help of application number, date of birth and verification code display on the screen. Make the payment of Rs 800 as the application fees through online mode.
Step 5- Once the payment is done, upload the scanned images of signature, photograph and thumb impression in the prescribed format.
Step 6- In case candidates have committed the error, click on the ‘edit application’ tab and make the necessary changes.
Step 7 – Preview the application form and click on ‘submit application form’ tab. Checkmark/accept the declaration given at the button of this page prior to submitting the form.
Step 8- Step 16 – LOGOUT after the process
Step 9- Take the printout of provisional confirmation page and keep it carefully till the admission procedure gets is over.
Step 10 – Once done with entire process, Logout.
JKCET Exam Centres 2019
The entrance exam will be conducted at the exam centres of JKCET 2019 as prescribed by the Board in the cities of Srinagar and Jammu only. JKCET 2019 exam centres will be allotted by the BOPEE and the information regarding this will be provided to the candidates on the admit cards. Candidates must remember that JKCET exam centres 2019 allotted to them will not be change under any circumstances.

The admit card of JKCET 2019 will be issued tentatively in second week of April in online mode. Candidates will be able to download their JKCET 2019 admit card by using their credentials. However, before downloading JKCET admit card 2019 candidates need to ensure that all the details mentioned on it our correct. In case candidates do not have internet facility, they can obtain their admit card of JKCET 2019 by visit the help desk as notified and paying a nominal amount for it. Moreover, they should remember that JKCET 2019 admit card is an important document, without it no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall.
The BOPEE will release the JKCET 2019 answer key tentatively in third week of April. Candidates can match their answers with the ones provided in the official answer key of JKCET 2019 and calculate their estimated scores. To challenge the answer key of JKCET 2019 candidates will have to attach the documented proof along with it.
The result of JKCET 2019 will be declared tentatively in second week of May. JKCET 2019 result will be declared in the form of merit list. JKCET Merit List 2019
The merit list of JKCET 2019 will be released along with the result tentatively in second week of May. JKCET 2019 merit list will be prepared on the basis marks secured in entrance exam and eligibility. In case JKCET 2019 is not conducted, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in qualifying examination (class 12). The merit list of JKCET 2019 will be base on the inter-se merit of the candidates in the exam in the descending order for general category and for each reserved category. In case, two or more candidates obtained equal merit, the inter-se-merit of such candidates was determined by the following ways:
Candidate obtaining higher marks in Mathematics in the exam will be considered.
If inter-se merit still exists, candidate having more marks in Physics will be considered.
If it still exists, candidate older in age will be considered for admission.
All the candidates who will qualify the entrance exam and whoes name will appear in the merit list will be called for JKCET 2019 counselling. Authorities will conduct the counselling of JKCET 2019 tentatively in third week of May in online mode. The JKCET 2019 counselling will include steps like registrations, option entry, filling of reference forms etc. For document verification, all the shortlisted candidates will have to report at the counselling venue according to their ranks on the notified date and time. Also, candidates will have to pay the counselling fee was Rs. 1200 at the time of registration.
