JKCET 2018 – The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has released JKCET 2018 result cum merit list on May 15. The JKCET result 2018 will include details like the rank and score obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam. Candidates can check JKCET 2018 result in online mode by logging in using their roll number. The official JKCET 2018 answer key was released on April 22 for set A, B, C and D. The admit card was available on April 11 in online mode. The application form of JKCET 2018 was available in online mode till March 21. JKCET 2018 was conducted in offline mode on April 22, 2018. Candidates who have qualified in JKCET will further be invited for counselling and seat allotment procedure during which they will be allotted seats according to their merit and choice filling. The merit-list-cum-result of JKCET 2018 has been declared by BOPEE on May 15. No log-in is required to check the JKCET 2018 result. Candidates will be able to check their scores and ranks as obtained in JKCET result 2018. It is advised that candidates download their online JKCET 2018 result and keep a print out of the same as it will be required to complete subsequent admission formalities.
JKCET Merit List 2018
The merit list of JKCET 2018,. which is released alongside the result on May 15, is based on the inter-se merit of the candidates in the exam in the descending order for general category and for each reserved category. In case, two or more candidates obtain equal merit, the inter-se-merit of such candidates will be determined by the following ways:
Candidate obtaining higher marks in Mathematics in the exam will be considered.
If inter-se merit still exists, candidate having more marks in Physics will be considered.
If it still exists, candidate older in age will be considered for admission.
The answer key of JKCET 2018 has been released by BOPEE on April 22 . JKCET 2018 answer key will help candidates match their answers with the ones provided in the official one. Using the JKCET answer key 2018, candidates will be able to estimate their scores and hence find out their probable ranks. Candidates can also challenge the answer key of JKCET 2018 by entering their application number and date of birth, if not satisfied with the answers given in it.
The admit card of JKCET 2018 has been released in online mode on from April 11. While downloading the admit card of JKCET 2018, candidates have to paste their recent colour passport size attested photo on the printout of it.
The offline facility to collect JKCET 2018 admit card is also available for candidates. Without valid JKCET admit card 2018, no candidate can enter the exam centre. Candidates will be required to preserve their JKCET admit card till the completion of the admission procedure. JKCET 2018 Admit card is an extremely important document and therefore it must not be mutilated, defaced or changed in any manner.
JKCET Eligibility Criteria 2018
The eligibility criteria of JKCET 2018 will be prescribed by BOPEE, the exam conducting body on the basis of which candidates will be able to fill the application form and apply for the exam. JKCET 2018 eligibility criteria include certain parameters on the basis of which candidates will be considered. These parameters of JKCET eligibility criteria 2018 have been provided below:
Candidates must be permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir.
Candidates must have passed class 12 or any other equivalent exam from a recognized statutory Board/ University with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their subjects.
Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks in aggregate in their class 12 or any other equivalent exam in general category and 40% in aggregate in reserved categories.
Candidates appearing for class 12 or any other equivalent exam in 2018 can also apply for JKCET 2018.
Candidates applying under TFW category will be considered as open merit candidates.
The application form of JKCET 2018 was available from February 1 in the online mode for all the candidates. The application form of JKCET 2018 had to be filled and submitted by candidates on or before March 21. The deadline for application fee payment and document uploading was also March 21.
Procedure to Fill JKCET 2018 Application Form
Candidates can refer to the step wise easy procedure mentioned below to fill the application form of JKCET 2018:
Step 1 – Keep the scanned copy of important documents like photograph, signature, left thumb-impression, marks sheet, permanent resident certificate and reserved category (if applicable) ready.
Step 2 – Click on the link to access the application form
Step 3 – Click on REGISTER button to fill the JKCET application form
Step 4 – Fill in the required details and click on GENERATE APPLICATION NO button to get registered and generate an application number
Step 5 - Enter the required details like category, date of birth etc. on this page carefully
Step 6 – Note down the application number generated for future reference
Step 7 - LOGIN using application number and date of birth to complete the form with other details.
Step 8 – Read the instructions on this page carefully and click on “Pay 800” button to go to the payment gateway page and select payment mode
Step 9 – Submit the required details like personal, address, residential, academic etc and click on SAVE & CONTINUE button
Step 10 – Upload scanned images of photo, signature and left thumb impression in the prescribed specifications
Step 11 – Click on EDIT APPLICATION as visible on the page and make changes in the information provided if required.
Step 12 - Click on the preview confirmation page button to view all the details.
Step 13 - If all the details filled are correct, click on SUBMIT APPLICATION FORM button. Checkmark/ accept the declaration given at the button of this page prior to submitting the form.
Step 14- The application form will be locked for verification process and confirmation page in the printable form will be displayed
Step 15 - Candidates are required to click on the PRINT button at the bottom to print the provisional confirmation page and keep it carefully till the admission procedure is over.
Step 16 – LOGOUT after the process
JKCET Application Fee
Candidates are required to submit the application fee of Rs 800 and upload the documents till March 21. The JKCET 2018 application fee could be submitted online through the “Integrated Payment Gateway” with the help of any national Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking facility.
JKCET 2018 Exam Centres
The exam centres of JKCET 2018 will be in the cities of Srinagar and Jammu only as prescribed by BOPEE where the entrance exam will be conducted. The name and complete address of the JKCET 2018 exam centres will be mentioned on the admit card of the candidate. On the day of the exam, candidates will have to visit their allotted JKCET exam centres 2018. It is to be noted that JKCET exam centres 2018 once allotted will not be changed.

Salient features of JKCET Exam Pattern 2018
It will be the sole responsibility of the candidate to check the question booklet before attempting to answer any question. In case of any discrepancies, it has to be brought to the invigilator's knowledge.
The question booklet must have 60 questions per subject. Candidates are required to check it before starting the exam.
Candidates are required not to break the seal containing question booklet let until asked to do so
Candidates are required to write their roll number on the cover page of the question booklet at the space provided
Candidates are required not to make any type of marking on the question booklet. Paper for rough work will be included in the question booklet.
At the end of the examination, candidates will be allowed to take the question booklets with them.

The qualified candidates of the entrance exam will be invited for JKCET 2018 counselling. Candidates will get an opportunity to indicate their choices/ preferences regarding colleges and courses in the counselling of JKCET 2018. Candidates will have to personally attend JKCET 2018 counselling along with all of their documents in original, admit card and a payment receipt of Rs. 500/- paid at the POS terminal at BOPEE office, Srinagar or Jammu.
