JKCET 2019 - Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) is conducting the second round counselling from July 8, 2019. The authorities are conducting the online counselling process from May 27. However, candidates can perform the mock exercise on May 25 & 26, 2019. The authorities have released the final answer key of JKCET 2019. Candidates can now check the answer key to know the correct responses to the questions asked in the examination. The authorities conducted JKCET 2019 on April 28 in offline mode. The last date to submit the online application form of JKCET 2019 was March 27. JKCET 2019 was conducted for all those candidates who are seeking admission to various B.tech programmes offered by different institutes in Jammu and Kashmir. The result-cum merit list of JKCET will be released by or before May 17 in online mode. Important- The candidates, whose JKCET result 2019 is withheld because of submission of deficient documents, may submit the same to the BOPEE up to June 1 in person to the Board office at Srinagar/Jammu. The candidates who want to update their category status including (Income certificate for purpose of tuition fee waiver) may also submit the documents in the prescribed format.

The second round counselling is being conducted by the exam authorities from July 8 in offline mode. All the candidates who will qualify the entrance exam and whose name will appear in the merit list called for JKCET 2019 counselling. Authorities have conducted the counselling of JKCET 2019 May 25 in online mode. The JKCET 2019 counselling included steps like registrations, option entry, filling of reference forms etc. For document verification, all the shortlisted candidates will have to report at the counselling venue according to their ranks on the notified date and time. Also, candidates will have to pay the counselling fee was Rs. 1200 at the time of registration.

JKCET 2019 seat allotment will be done on the basis of candidates' merit and choice filling. Candidates have to report at the allotted institute during JKCET 2019 seat allotment for document verification.
BOPEE has released the JKCET 2019 final answer key after checking the objections sent by the authorities. Candidates can match their answers with the ones provided in the official answer key of JKCET 2019 and calculate their estimated scores. In case candidates had found any discrepancy in the provisional answer key, they could challenge it within the notified time. To challenge the answer key of JKCET 2019 candidates had to attach the documented proof along with it.
The result of JKCET 2019 was declared on May 17, 2019. JKCET 2019 result declared in the form of merit list. Candidates can view their scores and rank in the form of PDF. Candidates who applied for the entrance exam should have checked and met the eligibility criteria of JKCET 2019. BOPEE prescribed the JKCET 2019 eligibility criteria which includes parameters like age criteria, qualifying examination, marks required and so on. Mentioned below is the detailed JKCET eligibility criteria 2019 for candidates reference:
Nationality- Candidates must be permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir.
Qualifying Examination- Candidates must have passed class 12 or any other equivalent exam from a recognized statutory Board/ University with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their subjects.
Qualifying Marks- Candidates belonging from General category with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in class 12 or any other equivalent exam, whereas 40% aggregate marks is required by reserved categories.
Candidates appearing for class 12 or any other equivalent exam in 2019 can also apply for JKCET 2019.
Candidates applying under TFW category will be considered as open merit candidates.
Age Criteria- Candidates must be at least 17 years old on December 31 of the relevant year (2019)
The application form of JKCET 2019 was released on February 1 in online mode. The last date to apply was extended until March 27, 2019. How to Fill JKCET 2019 Application form
To fill and submit the application form of JKCET 2019, the below mentioned steps had to be followed:
Step 1- Ready all the documents like scanned copy of images of photograph and signature, marksheet of class 12 and 10, caste certificate etc.
Step 2- Visit and click on the JKCET application form 2019 link
Step 3- Get registered by filling the requisite details like name, date of birth, qualifying examination and marks etc. Once registered, the application number was generated.
Step 4- Log-in with the help of application number, date of birth and verification code display on the screen. Make the payment of Rs 1200 as the application fees through online mode.
Step 5- Once the payment was done, upload the scanned images of signature, photograph and thumb impression in the prescribed format.
Step 6- In case candidates had committed the error, click on the ‘edit application’ tab and make the necessary changes.
Step 7 – Preview the application form and click on ‘submit application form’ tab. Checkmark/accept the declaration given at the button of this page prior to submitting the form.
Step 8- Step 16 – LOGOUT after the process
Step 9- Take the printout of the provisional confirmation page and keep it carefully till the admission procedure gets is over.
Step 10 – Once done with the entire process, Logout.
The entrance exam was conducted at the exam centres of JKCET 2019 as prescribed by the Board in the cities of Srinagar and Jammu only. JKCET 2019 exam centres were allotted by the BOPEE and the information regarding this was provided to the candidates on the admit cards. The merit list of JKCET 2019 was created based on the inter-se merit of the candidates in the exam in the descending order for general category and for each reserved category. In case, two or more candidates obtained equal merit, the inter-se-merit of such candidates was determined by the following ways:
Candidate obtaining higher marks in Mathematics in the exam will be considered.
If inter-se merit still exists, the candidate having more marks in Physics will be considered.
If it still exists, candidate older in age will be considered for admission.

As you have taken admission in secound round of counselling you can apply for mop up round for which you have to cut your name from the respective college and take CLC and other certificates from the college .The documents withdrawn from the previous college has to be present at new alloted college at time of admission.

The preference list set in the first round can be edited in the second round, but only if you want to, so you can keep it same, and fill further or do nothing at all. So it's only if you want to, you can fill the list further. Yes you can change the list even entirely if you want. All the best!
