AP ECET Counselling 2020 - JNTU, Anantapur will begin the counselling of AP ECET 2020 tentatively from the second week of June. AP ECET 2020 Counselling will be conducted in online mode for all the eligible candidates. Candidates should score at least 25% of aggregate marks to be eligible to participate in the AP ECET Counselling 2020. After each round of counselling, authorities will release the seat allotment list on the basis of rank obtained by the candidate, preference and availability of seats. Authorities will also conduct spot round of AP ECET 2020 counselling if seats are left vacant after the counselling is completed. AP ECET is conducted for lateral entry or admission to 2nd year BE/B.Tech courses to the participating institutes. AP ECET 2020 will be conducted on April 30. The authorities will begin the counselling of AP ECET 2020 tentatively from the second week of June and all the eligible candidates will be required to appear for it on the scheduled date and time. Candidates who will be able to obtain 25% of aggregate marks (50 marks out of 200 marks) will be eligible for AP ECET 2020 counselling. For candidates belonging to SC/ST category, there will not be any minimum qualifying marks for ranking the candidates.
The process of counselling of AP ECET 2020 will have some stages. Candidates can check the detailed information regarding the stages of AP ECET counselling 2020.
Fee Payment - Candidates will have to pay the processing fee through the online mode i.e debit cards, credit cards, or net banking.
Candidates will have to visit the official website and click on the “processing fee payment online” link on the web page.
On the new page, candidates will have to enter the hall ticket number, rank and captcha code and click on “Pay fee online”.
On the payment gateway page, candidates will have to choose their preferred online payment mode and make a payment.
Take a print out of the payment confirmation.
Certificate Verification - Candidates will have to reach the helpline centre of AP ECET 2020 for document verification and will have to follow the below-mentioned steps.
Candidates will have to hand over the rank card of AP ECET 2020 to the authorities at the helpline centre and then they will have to fill the registration-cum-verification form which includes hall ticket number, rank etc. Finally, candidates will have to wait until the announcement by the officer at the registration counter for certificate verification.

In the next step, candidates will have to ensure that all the details entered by them in the application form is correct. If a candidate belongs to Open Category then he or she will have to report directly to the Certificate verification officer and other candidates will have to submit the caste certificate of SC/ST/BC. The authorities at the helpline centre will verify the original certificates like Hall ticket, Rank card, Marks memo, Income certificate, Study certificate etc. Candidates are advised to collect the manual option form for future reference.
Preliminary work to be done at home - Candidates will have to next fill the district code, college code and course code in the manual option form. Later, authorities will release the seat allotment list on the basis of Rank, Gender, Local Area, reservation category etc. in the order of preference.
Procedure to be followed on the web browser - The next step will be done on the web browser. Candidates will have to click on the “Candidate’s registration” and enter the details asked on the screen such as registration number, hall ticket no., date of birth and rank as printed in the certificate verification. Log in using the registration number and password and click on the ‘option entry’ and enter the other required details.
Allotment of seats - Finally, authorities will release the seat allotment list and candidates can check the list by logging into the candidate’s account. The authorities will release the seat allotment list on the basis of rank obtained by the candidate, preference and availability of seats.
The authorities will conduct the spot round counselling if they find seat vacant after other rounds of counselling. Candidates will be notified by the authorities in case of spot counselling round of AP ECET 2020.
Total vacancies for Institutional spot admissions = Unfilled seats at the end of final phase counselling + Number not reported from the list of allotted candidates + Number reported but cancelled after final phase counselling.

For admission into the Degree programme in Information Technology and Computer Science and Engineering, authorities will first prefer the candidates who have gained the Diploma in Information Technology and Computer Science and Engineering respectively.
For admission into the Degree programme in Textile Technology, authorities will first prefer the candidates who have gained their Diploma in Textile Technology (Design & Manufacturing) and Textile Technology (Knitting).
For admission into the Degree programme in Bio-Technology, authorities will first prefer the candidates who have obtained the Diploma in Bio-Technology.
The qualified candidates from B.Sc degree holders will be considered for admission only after exhausting all branches of Diploma holders.

APECET exams have different papers for different sections i.e. For engineering, pharmacy and B.Sc (Mathematics).
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are asked in the common section of the paper and the last section is for the specific engineering field. There will be 3 papers having 200 MCQ's each of 1 mark.( No negative marking). Marks are distributed per paper as 25 marks for physics and chemistry, 50 marks in maths and 100 marks in the engineering section. The minimum passing marks for General category is 25%. And for SC and ST there is no minimum qualifying marking scheme.
For admission in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, they take in students having a cut off rank in different branches.
However, your rank depends on the number of students answering and also the number of students qualifying.
But keep in mind its important that you score 110/200 to keep your rank above 10000.
For Chemical Engineering, the cutoff is 13000-14000 rank.
