These candidates can choose any undergraduate program at any BITS Pilani campus (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad). To be eligible, the candidate must be the topper in the science stream, having studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12. Candidates with a combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are eligible for admission to the B. Pharma program only. The following criteria will be used to determine the topper.
The Tie-Breaker Criteria for acquiring Director Seat and Admission for BITSAT 2026 are used when two or more candidates secure an equal score/rank so that a particular candidate will gain an edge over others in getting admission for BITSAT 2026. The criteria uses school performance with preference given to certain subjects in order to ensure that the right candidates are selected.
First, their scores obtained in Mathematics in 12th grade examination will be considered for separating them.
If the tie still exists, then their scores in Physics in the 12th grade examination will be considered.
If the ties still exist, then they will be eliminated using their scores in Chemistry in the 12th grade examination.
If the tie still exists, then the score in Mathematics in the 10th-grade will be considered for separation.
If the tie still exists, then the score in Science in the 10th grade will be considered for separation.
If the situation warrants, the Admission committee reserves the right to add any additional criteria including a written test, to break the tie. Any such criteria will be announced to the candidates who have applied for admission under this scheme.
