Step 1 – IPU B.Tech 2026 Registration - In the first step, candidates have to complete the registration process by entering the details like program group, program name, name, mobile number, email ID and more. Upon successful registration, credentials will be shared to the registered email ID and contact number.

Step 2 – Filling the IPU B.Tech application form - Using the credentials, candidates have to log into the account and click on "Fill Application Form”. All of the required details such as personal details, qualification details, and program details, had to be entered.

Step 3 – Uploading documents - In the next step, candidates will have to upload the photograph and signature in the specified format.

Step 4 – Payment of application fee- After uploading the documents, candidates have to click on the “Preview” tab to review all the entered details. Click on the submit button. Once the application is submitted successfully, candidates other than the exempted categories will be automatically redirected to the Online Payment Gateway, i.e., via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking. A payment of Rs. 1500 had to be made, after which a printout of the generated payment acknowledgement slip could be taken.
