GATE Notification 2026- IIT Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 notification on the official website, gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The GATE notification 20256 contains all the information about the exam. It includes the GATE 2026 exam dates, application process, eligibility, syllabus, exam pattern and more. According to the notification, the authority will conduct the GATE 2026 registrations from August 25 to September 25, 2025. The GATE exam will be conducted for a total of 30 subjects online. GATE 2026 Registration Dates

IIT Guwahati has announced the dates for the GATE 2026 application online. The registration process will be held from August 25 to September 25, 2025, for the 2026 GATE session. The application form will be available through the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). Registering for the exam also creates the GATE 2026 Login, which candidates require for every step of the GATE process.

GATE 2026 Eligibility

IIT Guwahati has published the GATE 2026 eligibility in the notification. Candidates have to meet all the eligibility criteria before applying. Failure to meet any of the prescribed eligibility requirements will cause the candidate’s application to be cancelled. The basic eligibility for candidates to apply for the GATE exam is that the candidate must have completed 10+2+2 or 10+3+1 & be in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate course.

GATE 2025 Exam Pattern

Candidates can also find the GATE 2026 exam pattern on the notification posted on the official website. The GATE 2026 Exam pattern is necessary for candidates to be aware of the marking scheme, the total number of questions and more. Knowing the GATE 2026 exam pattern helps candidates be prepared for the exam.
