Candidates must carry a printed copy of the GATE 2025 admit card with them to the exam hall.
Along with the admit card, candidates must carry an original valid photo ID card such as Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, Aadhar Card and Driving License.
Candidates must check the GATE exam centre address mentioned on their admit cards and visit it in advance to familiarize themselves with the location.

The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted in 2 shifts.
The GATE exam will be held for three hours for each paper.
Candidates will not be allowed to enter the GATE 2025 exam hall after 30 mins of the commencement of the exam. For forenoon session the last entry will be allowed by 10 AM and for the afternoon session by 3 PM.
The reporting time for the GATE 2025 forenoon session is 8 AM and for the afternoon session is 1 PM.
