GATE AIR 1 2025 -IIT Roorkee has announced the GATE 2025 AIR 1 on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. According to the notification, this year’s AIR 1 for Aerospace Engineering is Balamurugan, who secured 81 raw marks out of 100 and a GATE score of 990. Candidates can check the names of the GATE 2025 AIR 1 along with their marks out of 100 and scores out of 1000 from this page. The authority announced the GATE exam results on March 19, 2025. Those who score the highest marks in the GATE exam will become the All India Rank (AIR ) 1 for their respective subjects. The GATE 2025 exam was held on February 1, 2, 15 and 16 for 30 papers. Coaching institutes have released the GATE 2025 AIR 1 online. Abhay Singh secured AIR-1 in Civil Engineering, Rajneesh Bijarniya secured AIR-1 in Mechanical Engineering, and Nikhil Sadineni is AIR-1 for DA. Hemant Reddy secured AIR-3 in Civil Engineering.
The authority has released the GATE 2025 toppers on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. According to the notification, this year’s AIR 1 for Aerospace Engineering is Balamurugan, who secured 81 raw marks out of 100 and a GATE score of 990. Previously, three candidates have secured AIR 1 in Electrical Engineering in GATE 2024, Manoj Kumar Sinha, Shivam, and Sai Kiran Adelly. These candidates scored 77 marks (raw) out of 100, and their GATE score was a perfect 1000.

Yes, you can get a seat in VLSI. However, different colleges have different cut-off scores. Check the respective college GATE cut off before applying.
Every PSU has different cut-off marks and eligibility. Hence, it is suggested to apply for PSU after checking the eligibility. Also, they do not reveal the marks of the finally selected candidates. So, wait for the final merit list.
If you are getting confused, you can explore more courses after 12th for the science stream . Based on your interest, you can pursue B.Tech in CSE and later specialise in cybersecurity. After your graduation, you can appear in GATE to pursue higher studies in some of the top institutes
Yes. You can. GATE eligibility specifies that students in their 3rd year and above can appear for the exam. Since the results are valid for 3 years, you can use the same for your admissions.
