VTUEEE 2020 - Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R and D Institute of Science and Technology will be conducting VTUEEE 2020 for admissions into B.Tech programmes offered by the institute. The eligibility criteria of VTUEEE 2020 will constitute of the conditions specified by the authorities which have to be fulfilled by the candidates to participate in the entrance examination or admission procedure. If any candidate is unable to meet the eligibility criteria, then he/she may be disqualified from participating in VTUEEE 2020.
The following guidelines in regards to age has to be met by the candidates:
The candidates should be at least 25 years of age as on July 1, 2020.
There is an age relaxation of upto 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC category.
In some specific cases, an age relaxation of upto 5 years may be provided.
It should be noted that the date of birth as mentioned in Secondary Education Board will be considered by the authorities.
Candidates are required to have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
The candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board. Those candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying examination in 2020 will also be eligible.
Minimum aggregate of 50% should have been secured by the candidates in 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination.
The authorities will release the application form of VTUEEE 2020 tentatively in October 2019. Candidates will be able to submit the application form in two phases. The final date of VTUEEE 2020 application form submission for Phase I will be tentatively in the second week of January, while for Phase II, the last date will be tentatively in the second week of July 2020. VTUEEE application form 2020 will be available in both online and offline mode.
Candidates will be given the choice of filling VTUEEE application form 2020 in online or offline mode. The given steps can be followed by the candidates to fill the online application form of VTUEEE 2020.
Step 1 - Registration: Firstly, the candidates will have to register to fill VTUEEE 2020 application form. Details such as name, mobile number, email ID, choice of programme and more has to be provided for registration. The candidates will be able to access the username and password, which will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID, after the registration is completed.
Step 2 - Filling of Application Form: After logging in using the username and password, the candidates will have to fill the application form of VTUEEE 2020. All personal, academic and communication details have to be submitted by the candidates in the application form. All details have to be valid in nature.
Step 3 - Uploading of Documents: The photograph and signature has to be uploaded as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities. If the correct images are not uploaded, then the application form will not be accepted.
Step 4 - Payment of Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay the application fee through online mode i.e., net banking/credit card/debit card. Only after the payment is done, the candidates will be able to print out the application form for future reference.
The application form of VTUEEE 2020 will also be available in offline mode. Candidates can use the following methods to access the offline application form:
By sending a demand draft of Rs. 950 in favour of “Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology”, payable to Chennai. The demand draft has to sent to ‘The Director - UG Admission’ along with a requisition letter consisting of the candidate’s full address.
The application form can also be purchased from the Regional offices of Vel Tech with payment of Rs. 950 in cash.
Candidates can also hand over a demand draft of Rs. 950 in person at the institute for the application form. Later, the candidates will have to submit the application form to the following address:

The authorities will announce the list of VTUEEE 2020 exam centres where the examination will be conducted. The names of the cities where the examination will be held will be made available for the candidates. Candidates can access and solve the sample papers of VTUEEE 2020 to prepare for the upcoming examination. Through the sample papers, the candidates will be able to know the pattern of the examination and the type of questions usually asked. Evaluation of their current preparation status can be checked by solving VTUEEE 2020 sample papers. The minimum scores that need to be secured for higher chances of admission will constitute the cutoff of VTUEEE 2020. The authorities will determine the cutoff after considering various factors related to the entrance examination such as number of applicants, difficulty level, previous year cutoff trends and more. VTUEEE 2020 cutoff will be different for each category and course and will act as a screening process for admissions.
The authorities will conduct the counselling of VTUEEE 2020 in offline mode. All of the qualified candidates will have to report to the counselling venue with the required documents. At the centre, the candidates will have to register and select their preferred courses. Allotment of seats will be done as per the merit and preference of the candidates. VTUEEE 2020 counselling will be conducted separately for each phase. After allotment of seats, the candidates will be required to confirm their admission.

Vel Tech Undergraduate Entrance Exam, i.e, VTUEEE is conducted by Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology for admissions to B.Tech programs offered by the university.
