Tamil Nadu Polytechnic Admission 2024 - DoTE, Tamil Nadu concluded the TN Polytechnic 2024 registration on May 31. The Tamil Nadu Polytechnic admission 2024 application form was available on the website, tnpoly.in. Candidates who have passed the SSLC or equivalent exam could apply for the TN Polytechnic 2024 admission. The authority will soon release the TN Polytechnic 2024 merit list.
The selection of the candidates will be based on the total marks secured in the qualifying examination. Moreover, the ranking will be based on the total marks secured in SSLC or equivalent exams following communal reservation. Candidates will be intimated about the selection by the principal of the Polytechnic concerned through the registered email/mobile number. DOTE concluded the TN Polytechnic 2024 registration process. Candidates could apply for the Tamil Nadu Polytechnic online at, tnpoly.in. The eligible candidates had to submit the application form for TN Polytechnic admission by May 31. The application process comprises of registration, form filling, uploading of documents and payment of fees. Candidates can refer to the given steps to fill Tamil Nadu Polytechnic 2024 application form.
Step 1- Online Registration: In the first step, candidates will have to register by entering basic details like name, gender, mobile number and email ID. Once, the candidates complete their registration, an application number and password will be sent to their registered mobile number and email ID.
Step 2- Filling of Application Form & Uploading of Documents: In the next step, candidates will have to enter other required details of the form like their personal and academic details. After this, candidates will have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as per the specifications prescribed by the authorities.
Step 3- Payment of Application Fee: Once the candidates have uploaded their documents, they will be directed to the fee payment page. Candidates can pay the application fee of Tamil Nadu Polytechnic 2024 in online mode through debit/credit card or Internet banking.
Step 4- Submission of Application Form: The last step of the application process is the submission of the form. Candidates must carefully check all the details entered by them in the application form and then click on the “Submit” button.
Candidates had to purchase the TN Polytechnic 2024 application form from any of the designated polytechnics after paying the application fee. Once, the candidates purchased the form, they had to fill out the application form along with pasting the photograph on the designated place. Candidates must ensure that they put their signatures on the application form. Lastly, candidates had to submit the filled form before the last date.
DOTE, Tamil Nadu will release the Tamil Nadu 2024 Polytechnic merit list at its official website. The authority will prepare the merit list of Tamil Nadu Polytechnic based on the qualifying exam marks. he merit list will be published in PDF format on the official website of DOTE. Candidates will be able to download the PDF file easily from the website.
In case two or more candidates have the same marks in the qualifying exam, then the following rule is considered to determine the rank of such candidates.
Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be given higher ranks.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in Science will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher total marks in Mathematics and English will be given higher ranks.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher total marks in Science and English will be given higher ranks.
If a tie still persists, the older candidate will be given a higher rank.
Candidates will be intimated about the section via email/sms. The selected candidates have to report to the allotted institute with the required documents to participate in the counselling of TN Polytechnic admissions 2024. All the documents are to be produced to the principal during the admission process.
