The eligible candidates had to submit the application form for TN Polytechnic admission by May 2026. Steps to Fill Online Tamil Nadu Polytechnic Application Form 2026

Step 1- Online Registration: In the first step, candidates will have to register by entering basic details like name, gender, mobile number and email ID. Once the candidates complete their registration, an application number and password will be sent to their registered mobile number and email ID.

Tie- Breaking Rule of Tamil Nadu Polytechnic Admission 2026

In case two or more candidates have the same marks in the qualifying exam, then the following rule is considered to determine the rank of such candidates.

• Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be given higher ranks.

• If a tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in Science will be given a higher rank.

• If a tie still persists, candidates with higher total marks in Mathematics and English will be given higher ranks.

• If a tie still persists, candidates with higher total marks in Science and English will be given higher ranks.

• If a tie still persists, the older candidate will be given a higher rank.

Tamil Nadu Polytechnic Counselling 2026

Candidates will be informed about the section via email/sms. The selected candidates have to report to the allotted institute with the required documents to participate in the counselling of TN Polytechnic admissions 2026.
