Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), Greater Noida, strengthened its international academic engagement through participation in the Summer Institute on International Education in Japan (SIIEJ 2026), held at J.F. Oberlin University, Shinjuku Campus, Tokyo, Japan. Representing NIET, Dr. Neema Agarwal, Additional Managing Director (AMD), NIET Greater Noida, participated in a panel discussion on student aspirations, employability, and the future of international higher education, with a particular focus on the growing India–Japan relationship.
During the session, Dr. Agarwal highlighted the evolving expectations of students and the need for institutions to create learning opportunities beyond the classroom through international exposure, industry connect, student mobility, and meaningful academic collaborations. She also emphasised the importance of creating pathways that provide students with global experience while keeping them connected to employability and real-world outcomes.
