Careers360: Introduce yourself and tell us why NIET Greater Noida was your choice for higher education?

Bharat: I am Bharat Rajput, and I completed my Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology at NIET Greater Noida. My course covered core IT subjects like data structures, databases, networking, and software engineering, along with elective topics in AI and cloud technologies that helped shape my interest in generative AI and automation.

Careers360: To what extent did the curriculum support the development of industry-relevant skills alongside academic?

Bharat: I chose NIET Greater Noida because of its strong academic curriculum, industry-aligned programs, and placement track record. The campus’s practical approach—labs, workshops, and collaborations with companies—promised hands-on experience that I was looking for.

Careers360: How would you describe campus life at NIET Greater Noida, and which What experience had the most significant impact during your time there?

Bharat: Learning, Fun & Growth describes campus life well. Academically, we had rigorous coursework and labs; socially, there were events and student groups that made college enjoyable; and personally, the exposure to projects and internships accelerated my growth and readiness for industry roles.

Careers360: How would you describe the approachability and supportiveness of the faculty during your time on campus?

Bharat: Yes — I actively participated in cultural events and tech clubs. I joined the coding club and an AI study group, and took part in college fests and hackathons. These activities improved teamwork, presentation skills and helped build a supportive network beyond the classroom.

Careers360: How impactful were case studies, projects, and internships in your overall learning journey at VITBS?

Bharat: The faculty, mentors, and peers were very supportive. Professors were approachable during office hours and guided projects and internships. Senior students and peer groups helped with study resources and interview prep. The combined support made it easier to tackle both academic difficulties and personal challenges.

Careers360: Did you have opportunities to connect or interact with alumni while pursuing your studies?

Bharat: Engaging with the senior was a bit concerning for us, as at that time we were not supposed to be in college.

Careers360: Do you have experience with mentoring, and would you be open to guiding NIET students ahead?

Bharat: Recently, I have interviewed some students. I am willing to address students ahead.

Careers360: How much of your current professional success would you credit to NIET Greater Noida?

Bharat: As I am very happy with my earlier career phase, I would appreciate my college academics to support this type of study.

Careers360: Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently during your time at NIET?

Bharat: Not specific, at that time we were at home.
